Of course there is always hope! And you are still young! You said that you have a history of infertility-did you have tests done way back when that concluded that? Could it have been issues with your ex or maybe it just took you longer than normal to conceive? The fact that you conceived naturally is very promising I would think.

I am 41, just had my third daughter. When we conceived her, we had been trying a year and had just began tests to make sure we didn't have any fertility issues. Honestly, I think I was just being impatient and conceiving just takes a little longer sometimes.

Never give up hope. If I were you I would find a good doctor and go through all the tests just to make sure there is nothing wrong and then, like you said, just try to be patient :)

I hope that you see a bfp soon!

Hi and welcome! I agree with the others, get things checked out, but really, you are still young. If you think pcos might be part of the problem, you can get some great info at they even have a newsletter. I have a form of pcos, not the full blown deal, but enough that in the early days of ttc I never ovulated without some serious drugs! Later I lost an ovary from an ectopic pregnancy and since then things have gone much better for me. I had a son just a few weeks before my 40th birthday with only a small amount of clomid, then I had my daughter at 41 without any assistance at all! So yes, there is definitely hope! Just do all that you can to be sure you are as healthy as possible, including drinking enough water, and then just relax and see what happens. I hope your time here is a short one, may that BFP come quickly for you!

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement. Sometimes it seems like all I read is bleak news. It's great to also hear the happiness. You made my day!
