Hi!

I am new to this site today. I started AF today at day 41 my AF's are very irregular. I start 50mg of Clomid on Wed also. This will be our first cycle with Clomid but have been trying 9 months. :-(

Dh hubby and I married last New Years Eve and hoped to get PG on our honeymoon since I am (now) 40 and he will be 35, This Nov 2nd. I am taking over the counter estogen and prenatal vitamins... I think I O and I have CM I am wondering if I don't make enough posgesterone? Hubby just started a new job today ( after a LONG lay off) and my insurance doesn't pay to get PG only when I do. GRRRRRR... in 3 months he should get his insurance and that should change but then I will be almost 41. This is my hubby's first marriage and he has no children. I married at 17 and had my daughter at 18 she is now 22. I have been single for 20 years, so I am starting over.

I would love to adopt but hubby really wants his own child, I can undrstand that. I am just worried about birthdefects ect..

I am a foster parent to animals and work with abused and abandoned aniamls. ( This also was new to my hubby) we have 4 dogs and 3 cats. :-)

I am a grand"mother" to a 110 pound Doberman Pincher and a 4 month old Andelchion/Arbian ( sp) Horse, no 2 legged grandchildren planned.( Hope that will change!) Guess I have to find her a BF so she can get get married ect... LOL

Cathy,

Thanks so much for all the information!!!!

I am so glad we have something in common..our lastest addition to our family is a kitten we found him about 6 weeks ago and his mother had been shot and he had been left to die..GRRRR :-(

Well, my husband was not raised around cats and wasn't a big cat person even though I came with 2 grown cats, he let me bring this one home ( actually there was 2 I tried but couldn't save the little girl) We got up every 2 hours and fed the "babies" around the clock soon DH was doing on his own and letting me sleep. I knew he would be a great father, I did find a home for the kitten "Tiger" but hubby said no way he's mine..LOL He is cute and smart and loves his dady. I would LOVE to have a bigger home and do more fostering. Hubby is warming up to it, he was raised in a very strict military wealthy home and I was poor and lucky if we had a home. We actually lived in a bus for a while traveled and took in homeless people. Quite a difference! WE get along great we just see the world much different.

I will be out of town when we married 10 months ago we both owned our own homes, I have just left mine to sit like I left to go to Wal-Mart but the guy next door really wants to rent it so I guess I will be moving my stuff out. DH house is littler so I have no idea where I will put my things, but I am tired of living out a suitcase. We hope to sell both homes and get a bigger one with land. I do photography and want to start a "doggy daycare and Photography shop. I want to take pictures of animals and there human familes, as well as have a small doggy day care, and the fostering. I am disabled so I can't work a lot and alot of this will depend on how much the baby wears me out. Do you know anyone trying to have a baby with Fibromyasgia and Chronic fatique syndrome?(sp) Would love to hear about there experience.

Have a great couple of days and will talk when I get back.

((hugs))

Hi, Dawn.

I just turned 42, got married last Dec., and I'm TTC for the first time. DH has two kids about the age of yours. We just went through a vasectomy reversal this spring, but things look good with my plumbing, and his seems to be doing fine, too. So we're crossing our fingers that it will happen naturally.

I'm the proud "mom" to two cats who used to be fosters, so thank you for what you do. It's really important. I'd love to be able to foster, but I know I'd end up with 20 cats and a bunch of dogs because I wouldn't be able to let them go. So,instead I donate money, pet food, blankets, etc. to the local no-kill shelters. It makes me feel like I'm at least doing something to help.

FYI: I had a friend years ago who got pregnant with fibromyalgia, and it didn't change things for her one way or the other.

Good luck to you!

Jodi
