I'm new to the group and I'm probably the oldest here! I'm 47 and TTC via IUI with donor sperm starting later this month. I live in Ontario, Canada. It's really scary but it's time to stop worrying about it and just get on with it. Looking forward to the next few months and reading all your messages

Welcome - but you aren't the oldest! So far, I still retain that "honour'! :)

I guess you still hold the record witch_power! I'm a newbie who's 49 and TTC since last June. So far we've had no luck. I don't want to go to a fertility specialist, so I've made a deal with myself. I'd like to have a child before I turn 51 in September 2006. If I haven't gotten pregnant by the end of this year, I'll accept the fact and quit trying. I don't want to be mother to a teen while in a nursing home!
