Looks like we have several new ladies popping in this month. Welcome to you all. Rather than responding individually, I thought I'd just write up a quick note.

It's definitely not too late. I had a tubal reversal at age 41. Prior to the reversal, I was taking prenatals and folic acid for several months. I was only able to have one tube reversed. We were PG within a month. I did have a miscarriage and concieved again two cycles later. I have since turned 42. I am due in about 5 weeks with a healthy baby girl.

Just wanted to let you know that it is definitely not too late based on age alone. :)

Paula

Reading stories like Paula and Susan it definately tells you it is not too late. I am 42 and met my DH late in life and we started ttc in June 09 got pregnant in Aug but had mc. We are back trying again and i know that we will conceive and have a healthy baby.

Paula which prenatal vitamins are you taking?

Before getting pg I took one a day prenatals for several months.. continued taking them, but since they are so large, I asked my doc for a smaller sized prescription. But prior to pg and up until a few months ago it was the one a day which my doc said was fine.

I also took baby asprin once actively trying to get pg.

Thought I'd add a message here too....it's not too late! I conceived our 2 1/2 year old dd on our honeymoon at 39....and am now 24 weeks with #2 at 42...about a year ago I had an early miscarriage, followed by a ruptured cyst and was diagnosed with pre-diabetes (despite being fit, slim & in good health)...but was still able to get pregnant again and all is going well too...

In my dd's playgroup class I've become friends with moms 42, 43 and 51, all with toddlers...also have a close friend that had both her children over the age of 40...so it is possible.

My dr was the one encouraging me to go for #2...in fact she considers me young, has had lots of patients in their 40's have babies...one being 46...I know she's treating me like all of her patients, despite my age. This board and the women on it are wonderful...you've found the right place for support.

Best wishes to everyone. Catherine xx

Thank you very much Paula. I've been taking Stuart the problem is they don't have Dha.I then tried Rx Complete 400 Dha and thse made me itchy :-(. So now i am taking stuart. Before my mc my doc told me to take baby asprin by the time i started taking them it was already too late. I had to switch docs because the other doc was not good..

Did you take asprin while ttc or after you got BFP?
