What is considered a short luteal phase, do you know? Just wanting to watch out for it myself in case my cycle seems to point towards that. I think if I can find a pattern of clues that point towards some rectifiable problems, I might talk DH into paying for a visit to an RE or some sort of specialist that can see how well my reproductive system is working.

Also, Janet I guess you and I are also cycle buddies. I commented on Jen's comment to you but not to you... I hope we can encourage each other to stay in this journey together as long as it takes :)

Hello,

I'm Mary, just turned 45. Cycle day 10 and tiny amounts of brown discharge still from period. Weird cycle, came 5 days early and lasted longer.

Told my dh he had the summer to try naturally then forget it. But I kind of extended it a bit. Now I am on less supplements and not using cbfm. Still use cheap ov predictors. Supplements are: prenatal, dhea only 1x a day, fish oil, aspirin and mucinex if I remember. I still may use progesterone cream after o.

Not doing acupuncture any more either. So we will see if it is meant to be.

Wondfos are cheapies you can buy off of Amazon. I got 50 for under 10 bucks! I was using the Clear blue easy OPK's also but they are also line based. I didn't know they had a smiley face one. I hear the Fertility monitor by them has smiley faces. I spent 16 bucks for the CBE OPK's I got and it was a combo one HPT and 7 OPK's so the Wondfos are much cheaper. I hear they work just as good.
