Welcome to the board. This is a great place to come to get support and talk about things that are hard to share with other people. I have only told one friend that we are TTC so I know what you mean about feeling lonely. If you are over 40 and want kids or more kids you have to be crazy right? Well I must be crazy then. I also didn't have any problem conceiving in 2008 and 2009, but now at 40 (almost 41) it seems to be a whole other story. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I know how devastating that can be. My only advice, which I have to remind myself to take, is to hang on to your hope and find the joy in everyday, because life is the journey, not the final destination.
Looking forward to getting to know you better,
May your stay here be a short one!
Hi ladies, just wanted to continue with my tale.
I, too, enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine once I knew I was NOT pg.
I can't give up caffeine so I partake every day. These days I have about a cup in the morning, and a diet coke for dinner. Which, for me, is easily less than half of my former daily intake. Probably mostly due to an increase in my water intake for CM reasons. We only drink on Fridays 2-3, so I only skip the last two weeks of my cycle unless it is cut short like this last time. I never had an O went right to AF and right back to Friday night beverages :)
Hi and welcome to the board! You have certainly come to the right place for great support and friendship.
Hubby is on board, for the trying part LOL!
Jenny, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope I never have to deal with a M/c though I know at our age, there is a higher probabiity.
When I see a positive O line, I go cold turkey.
Oh no still TTC. If I was pregnant I would stop, the caffeine wouldnt hurt for the week or so that I don't know one way or the other according to my hubby, also a doctor. They say the caffeine during ttc can make it harder to conceive. I have heard a little caffeine during pregnancy is not as bad as having a little wine during pregnancy. I wouldn't drink alcohol at all during pregnancy. The caffeine I could see having some occassionally unles my doctor said I was too high risk to even drink a little caffeine. Anyway... hope that we all can have our little bundles of joy.
I also did some research here is the information I found on
