what a lamo! get rid of him ASAP....

Try taking B-6. you can order it on line (drugstore.com). A lot of drug stores carry it as well. You can take 100mg easy.

good luck!-martha

hey, susan K,
your temps are getting super low. how are you taking them? they say that super low temps could indicate thyroid problems. I found when taking temps orally I could get a variability of .5 degree depending on where I put the thermometer. -mch

Susan K. "welcome" officially. What brand of progesterone cream are you using? I just started charting and so far my LP is also 10. I was thinking of doing the same as you have to lengthen it some.

Martha - my temp in the FP phase (so far anyway) hover as low as Susan's. I've had my thyroid checked before and it was fine, but it's been a couple years now. Should I be looking into that again too? (sorry for the post hijack!)

Hi and welcome. I'm one of the oldies on this board (46) and delivered our miracle son on July 31st - the miracle has been screaming up a storm this morning!

I agree that if your doctor won't do a simple round of tests and some minor diagnostics it's time for a new doctor. YOu can search here for a list of testing that will help get a better picture. Day 3 bloodwork a clomid challenge and a bunch of others.

Good luck - this board has had some amazing good results lately - some without intervention and some with (like me). YOu and your DH have to decide how much is okay with you.

KUP.

You might consider seeing an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility to treat the underlying problem (short luteal phase is a symptom of body imbalance and treating the entire system will treat the cause )
here is an article you might be interested in concerning short luteal phases and Chinese medicine.

Wow! What a great welcome and great advice from all of you!!!! Thanks so much- I can tell there is a wealth of knowledge on this board and I so appreciate the open-minded nature of this group.

Martha- yes I had been taking B6 since April- last month I was taking 100 mg (and did 150 mg the month before). One thing it did do was raise my post-O temps- I decided to stop this month before my new doc appt as I wanted to just get my system down to "baseline" and have all the tests/bloodwork done and go from there.
