Susan,

Regarding the B6, I take a Balance 50 B complex that I purchased at Walmart.

Hey Michelle- thanks for the info too! I'm anxious to meet my new doc and get some bloodwork done- I think that low progesterone is an issue due to the fact that my LP has been around 10 days but it has been such a guessing game- I feel like I have been spending the last 9 months trying to diagnose myself!

Yes, Suzkate- I use a fertility acupuncturist- I also am an acu myself- not one trained in fertility though although I did do a course many years ago on traditional Chinese gynocology and that covers a bit but not as comprehensive as the newer fertility courses they offer LAc's. My acu was an OB/GYN in China for years before she came to USA. She's excellent even though I just started going to her. Prior to that I saw another woman but she went to the same acu school I went to and is not trained in herbal medicine (our school did not have that years ago) and I think herbal is where the greatest changes occur in combination with acupuncture, proper diet, qigong etc;

I use 100mg of B6 and the Super B Complex doesn't break it down because there's so much in the Super B Complex:

C = 150mg
B1= 100mg
B2 = 20mg
B3 = 25mg
B6 = 2mg
Folic = 400mcg
B12 = 15mcg
Biotin = 3.8mcg
Calcium = 5mg
Liver Powder = 100mg
Brewer's Yeaster = 100mg

Regarding the prog cream, that's just my opinion.

Wow! What a great welcome and great advice from all of you!!!! Thanks so much- I can tell there is a wealth of knowledge on this board and I so appreciate the open-minded nature of this group.

Martha- yes I had been taking B6 since April- last month I was taking 100 mg (and did 150 mg the month before). One thing it did do was raise my post-O temps- I decided to stop this month before my new doc appt as I wanted to just get my system down to "baseline" and have all the tests/bloodwork done and go from there.

You might consider seeing an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility to treat the underlying problem (short luteal phase is a symptom of body imbalance and treating the entire system will treat the cause )
here is an article you might be interested in concerning short luteal phases and Chinese medicine.
