Hi!!
I have been here before but it was before I conceived my beautiful baby boy who is now one!!
I am going to be 42 in March and we want to start TTC by April. I do not have any fertility problems since I have been able to conceive twice one in August 2003 which resulted in a miscarriage in November 2003 and then in April 2004 and my beautiful and healthy baby boy was born in January 2005.
I have been a very healthy woman all my life and I have taken very good care of myself , I used to exercise daily, practiced yoga and ate really well, so when I got pregnant I was very confident because I knew I was healthy.

Since Brian was born, being a first time Mom I have not been taken good care of me, I have been skipping meals, not exercising , etc due to lack of time and energy!!

My question to you all is: which do you think is more important to consider age or shape?
Would it be better to start trying right away ? or should I wait to lose more weight, get into a good exercise routine, eat better, take vitamins and folic acid regularly , etc for 6 months or so before trying to be in shape before TTC or do you all think time here is more important?

Thanks in advance and lots of baby dust for everyone!!

Hi, Musti. Welcome back!

In my opinion, I wouldn't waste any time. I just had a conversation with my IVF doctor, and he showed me a chart of average

Thanks Jodi for your reply!
I think you are right, time might be more important than being in shape and eating good for a few months before getting pregnant.
I think we will start trying now, although with an almost 13 month old baby making time for that is sometimes hard!!!

Thanks a lot !
