Hope it's ok Krista for me to start this but since I left IV for a while, now that I'm back, there are a lot of ladies I don't know.

Hi Lee-Ann. We miss you here. I am rooting for you and following your journey every step of the way. I do hope that you will add to your family (however that happens) because your lovely daughter would make a great big sister.

Thanks for sharing your story with all of us and take good care of yourself.

Hugs.

LeeAnn -- (((HUGS))). I am so sorry about your diagnosis and that you had to postpone DE. That is just so freaking unfair. Sending all my good vibes your way for a full recovery. You are so strong -- I am so moved by your kindness to me after my failed IVF, especially considering all you've been through. Hang in there and KUP. You always have a home here.

I TOTALLY agree.. I do not recommend waiting to BD. Get those swimmers in there every day if you dont have a sperm count issue... and keep sending in the troops every day until two days after O... that seems to be what FF recommends. You get high points for BD two days before, during and two days after O

We BD'd on June 21. FF and OPK say I O'd on June 25. We then BD'd on the 26th & 27th.

So, yeah, there is a chance we had some long living sperm left from the 21st when I O'd on the 25th.

I LOVE The idea of another girl.. but we purposefully put of BD to let the boy swimmers have a chance this time. :)

Things I had read said that the egg is alive for 24 hours after O and that if you are trying to increase the chances for a boy, you need to get the swimmers in there no more than 24 hours before, and 12 hours after the O because the boys are fast but die fast, too. And that to increase chances for a girl, you BD ahead of time.. before the O so that the boys die off and the girls, who are slower but live a long time, have a chance to be waiting for the egg.

Either way.. we caught the egg.. which is amazing.

I absolutely wish everyone here the best. I feel bad sometimes breezing in and out with the PG announcements.. but I seriously want everyone to keep in mind that 41, 42, 43 etc... is all not too late... I'm hopping around on one tube and now I'm just really hoping we got a healthy egg.... and that we get a healthy baby.. no matter what the gender. We are even toying with the idea of not finding out till birth.. but I know neither of us could hold out that long. :)

Baby dust to everyone. :)

Paula, your PG announcements are AWESOME. Do not feel bad at all -- you really do give us all hope. I still think you have a secret method you're not telling us, though! :)
