Seriously considering TTC again
| Thu, 06-17-2010 - 2:29am |
Josie is 4 months old today. Mike and I are really considering trying for another baby. We love this little girl so much and she is so incredibly perfect... we want her to have a full, close sibling. At the same time, I am more worried than ever about all the high risks. Josie is so perfect I'm afraid to push our luck.
We have until November... if I concieve after November, I'd give birth when I'm 44 and I dont think I'm too keen on that.
Still thinking....

Hi Paula,
I don't blame you one bit for wanting another!
They say that your extra fertile in the months following a birth.
Best of luck in whatever you choose!

Best of luck to you, but why have a time limit. My neighbor thought she was going through menopause, but actually was pregnant at 46. Her daught is a senior at Princeton.
You just never know!

I have the mental limit of 44.. but also I just really want a really close sibling for Josie. I also have other things I want to do while I'm still young enough. Mike and I have given up two years of biking events so far.. and if I get pg we will have to give up another... we are eager to get back to it.. As it is, we plan to take Josie with us on the ride next year... she will be 16 months old.
Overall, though, it is just a mental limit and the fact that I want Josie to have a very close sibling.. especially while we are still in baby mode. :)

Hey Paula!
So you're ready to jump back in the saddle!

I believe that Robbie Burns has a famous quote that perfectly addresses this situation:
"The best laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft agley."
Good luck!
