Thinking of trying for #2 at 42.5

I think I actually have DH on board, he did not want another until very recently. I had DD at 39 and was lucky - got pg quickly. I'm very scared as DD was really hard baby! She had colic and cried constantly. I'm terrified of going through that again although, she was worth it.
I've been perimenopausal for years and have done well on BCP so I'm not looking forward to going off those either.
I look forward to getting to know all of you!
