Welcome to the board! I too BF all my boys, 3 of them each for 3 yrs! I was able to conceive my second baby while BFing and my first 2 children are 2yrs 9 mo apart. The key to ovulation is as long as your not nursing every 4 hrs (probably not with an older baby who is also eating solids) you should be ovulating (most of the time) I got my period back 6 mo post partum and was ovulating regularly. Each person is an individual and you may not be ovulating yet but to find out I would have a progesterone level checked 7days post ovulaion and if over 10 on a natural cycle then you are ovulating!
