I'm in the same situation! Personally, my choice is straight to IVF/ICSI, because of my age. Even though my Day 3 and AMH #'s are okay (for my age), there's not telling when they might change, and I want to optimize my chances per cycle, as soon as possible. (Although no test, really, can tell you your egg *quality*. At least IVF gives the doctors a chance to see your embryo quality face-to-face, as it were, for that given cycle.)
Of course, it's more costly, the success rates aren't particularly high, and it's much more invasive for me--and I'd get much fewer tries than TTC naturally post-vasectomy, which offers unlimited chances, provided the reversal is a success--but that's just how I sliced it!
Everyone makes their decision for the own reasons. You might wanna weigh it out with your reproductive endocrinologist, see what they think for either choice. Whichever you decide, good luck! :)
Bunny,
it depends on your #s and test results. If you are at the end of your ovarian reserve, then IVF might be the only alternative.
FYI - people still can get regular periods and not ovulate.
good luck!
