Waiting for O

Does anyone else here feel that waiting for ovulation is way more stressful then the 2ww? Maybe it is because I am not sure that I have a regular cycle yet, but I find myself very stressed before I O. I am compulsive about doing OPKs 3x a day so I don't miss my surge. I find myself checking my temperature chart

I also find it stressful for other reasons.

I can just tell mine is tired, so I don't even try. He doesn't try when he is tired so pretty much we BD 1-2 times a week in the past. Might have to be more insistant in the months to come ;) GL all!!!

Here I am at CD19, I was really hoping for another rise on my chart, esp considering the time change but instead another dip... I could stil O yet, for sure but man my calculations were way off. I guess I should just start setting my sights on next month's chart and plan to write this one off a bit since there were so many wonky things going on, it was my first month and it took about a week to have the timing be the same. I am still waiting for my chart to show a continual temperature rise that lasts 3 days, I think that is what is required to get an O and a coverline. On the very positive side, between the FF daily lessons (set for first log in each day) and reviewing other people's charts and of course talking to people here, I think I have a much better handle on things. Then again it may be too soon to think I have it all figured out, as no documented FF O could make me crazy.

I did put down that I got a +OPK yesterday, but I think that might have been stretching it. It looked like one on peeonastick.com that was dark on half of the line but not the other half (they called it + after calling the manufacturer but was a different manufacturer), again this could have been a - not a +, so I didn't put much stock in it. Should BD sometime today just to be sure. So far the waiting for O is maddening enough, so I CANNOT wait for the dreaded TWW... NOT!!! :) No worries ladies, just venting.

Michele,

I looked at your chart. If you got a pos OPk yesterday do some BDing today because you should see a temp raise by tomorrow morning. Sometimes when we start doing everything we can to get pregnant, the stress causes a delay in O. Not having a super pos OPK is not a bad thing...it could mean that you don't need much of a LH surge to O. A super pos OPK could mean that it takes a lot of LH to O, which could mean that your eggs aren't ready. So a pos OPK that is not super pos can be a good thing. Hoping you see a raise in temp tomorrow.

Mel,

That's funny that you say that about the lh line. I have a lot if ewcm but my opk is dark but not dark enough to be a pos.

We will bd for the next three nights. What do you girls think about the whole skip a day to build up sperm thing. I am scared to skip a day for fear of missing the timing of the egg. Should I bd 4nights? My husband would say yes.

Well, they say if the man has low sperm count you should NOT do it every day but rather every other day. My DH was told years ago his counts were low but I dunno maybe his numbers can come up. EIther way, my DH says he would do it every day but what he really means is, if he isn't tired
