Welcome to the board, Bridgitte. I think you are taking a good combination of supplements. I don't know if you actually need any testing (it really depends on how long you've been TTC. You might want to just see your regular ob/gyn to start and then see if a referral to an RE is needed.
Hi and welcome to the board! I don't know how I missed this, I guess I was pretty hit and miss last week, sorry. I am also 44, with children almost 14, 11 (adopted), 4 and 2. I guess you could start by just talking to your doctor to see if they think you should do anything. I started charting a few months ago just to make sure that I was actually ovulating, and that I didn't just think I was because of being more regular. My doctor suggested that I use clomid just to help make sure the lining was as ready as possible and to help any possible low progesterone, since that was an issue with my 4 yr old. The only other thing I would add is to make sure you are taking enough folic acid. I had always heard that you should take 1 mg, but when I was pregnant in Dec (sadly I m/c'd) I learned that because of my age I should be on 5 mg a day. Otherwise it sound like you are doing great with your supplements, hopefully it won't be long and you will have a bfp!
