Well unless we win the lottery or have an amazing tax return check, we're IVF this year.  We simply can't afford it.  We were planning on using a credit card to cover the 20% of it that our insurance doesn't cover but we can barely make minimums now and even though i got a 3% raise at work my paycheck is lower than it was before due to tax increases this year.  We paid for the first IVF with a 401k loan that will still be a few years before its paid off. We can't afford to take a secone one out.

I plan to do my best to try and pull us out of this mess so we can try again eventually.  Though I am beginning to wonder if maybe its not for the best that we don't have kids.  Taking care of DH is a full time job most of the time on top of my full time job. I also am still not 100% okay with using DS. In the meantime I guess we'll keep 'trying' at home and hope DH has some sperm one of these months and we will have a miracle baby without going further into debt and using DS.  Seems hopeless though...I guess I need to accept that child free may be my infertility resolution.

Best of luck to everyone here. I will try to stop in and check in on you all as much as I can.

Thanks for all your support.

I hate, hate, hate that finances have to play such a big role in IF.  It's just so unfair.  I wish insurance had to cover treatments.  I'm wishing you much luck in paying down your debts and being able to continue in your journey.  Big {{{HUGS}}}

Hey Elizabeth...

This is months late, but I was just popping in to check on everyone.  So sorry about being benched.  It's totally ridiculous how much we have to pay to do something that so many people can do for free!  I hope you guys can figure something out in the near future, whatever your resolution will be!
