While my dh's SC is now 10million!!! the highest it has ever been and his motility is 80% which is also a first for us, my levels aren't so great. My prolactin level is high, it has been before and they treated it with bromocriptine so that isn't too bad, my blood count is still low even though I have been on iron tablets for 5weeks now. The one that worries me is my FSH level on day 2 of af to is high, I can't remember exactly how high but I know that a high FSH is a sign of reduced fertility. (I'm 27!!) I guess I should know age isn't always a good indicator of fertility since my dh was diaognosed with oligospermia at 23!

We are getting the ball rolling on the financial side, my in-laws have decided to give us half of the cost of ivf so yay! We are heading to the bank next week to get the other half.

That is great news about your DH!!!  Sorry to hear that some of your levels are off though =(  Hopefully they can get your prolactin in normal range with the meds again.  Was it pretty easy for them to do last time?  Regarding your FSH levels...my doctor uses FSH, AMH and antral counts to get an idea of what your ovarian reserve is.  Here is a lot of great info on FSH, http://www.advancedfertility.com/day3fsh.htm.  One level on it's own doesn't mean that you will not stim well but it does typically mean a doctor will start out with a higher dose of stims than they would on someone with an anticipated higher ovarian reserve.  How many eggs have you produced in your previous IVFs?  And has your FSH changed a lot since that time?

I know this is all so stressful but try not to get bogged down with any one level.  Your doctors just need all this information to make this cycle the most sucessful it can be =)

Wishing you tons of luck, please keep us posted!!!

Caryn, yes they were able to get my prolactin with normal ranges easily, I just have to pick u the meds. My last RE told me I stimmed well both times, I was on a low dose of menopur (2amps per day) for 11/10 days and produced 11 mature eggs the first time and I think 15 mature eggs last time. My new RE said she is going to be more aggressive with my dosages, so I'm hoping for more follicles/eggs this time. Thanks for sharing the link, I'm gonna check it out now Amanda
