You all know the ridiculously long cycle I've been having.  My RE prescribed 10 days of provera to get AF started.  After much internet research about provera, I found that many women are only prescribed 5 or 7 day doses. I know that if I started AF today, I could move up IVF stims by one week which would possibly get me through ER or close to it before my fall semester starts.

So, I decided to only take it for 7 days.  Since I usually get AF on my own, I figured I had a good chance of it working and getting AF by today.  I know I should have followed the directions, but I figured worse case scenario I would still be waiting until next week for AF.

My gamble paid off and AF came this morning.  I had a lot of cramps beginning the day after I stopped it with some heavy spotting yesterday and full AF today.  I have day 3 labs scheduled for Monday and hopefully will have the answer from insurance by mid week.  Cross your fingers for me that they say yes and that my day 3 labs are semi-normal!
