Tired of putting on a brave face?

I'm sure everyone has heard that Kim Kardashian is pregnant, and when I first heard the news I wondered how her sister, Khloe, was taking it.  I think it would be very normal and honest for her to be upset and sad for herself, but reports of her jealousy are alledgedly untrue.  I'm sure she is genuinely happy for her sister, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't be allowed to be upset over it as well.  She's been trying for a long time and also seeked fertility help.  I even read one report that insinuated that it would be wrong for her to feel any jealousy, which I don't think is fair.

Do you ever feel like you have to put on a brave face in public because people that haven't dealt with infertility honestly don't understand?

I think you all deserve the chance to stomp your feet and scream out in frustration.  It doesn't mean you aren't happy for others, just sad for yourself.

Putting on a brave face is exhausting. I do it everyday at work, there are multiple women who are pregnant and men whos wives are pregnant. Most of them are on number 2 and one girl has a 6 month old baby at home and is pregnant again. It is very frustrating and I do feel bad for myself but then I hate that I feel bad for myself and not only happy for them.

The first person I thought of when I heard Kim was pregant was Khloe.  It must be so hard for her.  About a year into our TTC journey I decided not to hide and to share my struggles with anyone and everyone.  It took a lot of that feeling of having to put on a brave face for me...
