hello!!  i still check in now and then.  when the format of the site changed, seemed like everyone disappeared with all the problems posting and everything.  i often wonder how people are doing!  and i wonder how many BFPs and babies there are out there that i don't know about!  hopefully lots!! :)

my asher is now 6.5, coming up on 7 months old.  he is such a happy little man, jabbering away with a huge gummy smile most of the time.  it took us a while to get there (he was born two years after stopping BC and after one MC), but he is soooo worth the wait and the frustrations.  he has added such joy to our lives and everything feels so complete now.

asher is sitting up and definitely thinking about crawling.  he turns himself or pushes himself backwards for now.  still hates tummy time, but he's strong.  he's started to eat some solids, i just puree some fruits or veggies for him and he's doing great eating from a spoon.  but how on earth is be old enough for that already!?  feel s like i just pushed him out!!

he's a short and stout little guy, 71% for weight and 17% for height at his 6 month appt.  hoping he'll overcome the short genes on my side and be tall like daddy.  right now, his favorite things are his johnny jump-up and laughing at our two wiener dogs.  cutest thing ever.

the picture attached is his 5-month picture, so it's a little old, but i haven't uploaded newer ones to this computer.

how are you, katie?

anyone else still out there?

I still try to check in. I felt like all you girls were there for me when I was in need of help. Now I feel bad not checking in often enough. It's just crazy when you have a little one to go spend time on the computer.  I also had lots of problems with logging in and slowness of the site after the change over.

Madelyn is going to be 6 months in two weeks! She's rolling from tummy to back and sitting but not on her own yet. She discovered she could stand up with help and stopped caring about trying to roll and sit and just wants to stand all the time. She's the love and joy of our lives and I can't imagine life without her!! I'm glad to hear things are going good Katie and Diane. I miss hearing from both of you. If either of you want to add me on FB let me know and I can send you my name by pm. I can't believe how quickly time has passed!

I am glad I am not the only one who wonders how everyone else is doing/ if they ever ended up getting pregnant. The switch over happened just as my EC were starting to have our babies so we ended up moving to face book because of the sign in problems. I am glad Asher and Madelyn are doing so well! I love the picture Diane! Did we all end up cloth diapering (noticed it in Diane's picture)? I know you were thinking about it Dina.

Not only have I been busy with my Aibhlin, but James and I just bought our first house (close at the end of this month) and will be moving into it sometime in September after we are finished painting the rooms. So I am keeping myself busy packing up everything and trying to get rid of everything we don't need anymore.

Aibhlin is now 9 months old, I still can't believe that one. She is one of the happiest, most talkative babies ever. She has been crawling for over a month now and is pulling up on everything she can, even her parents. She can stand for a few seconds without supports so I know walking is right around the courner, but we are currently in a small lull. She is saying mommy, daddy, ba (when you ask her what sound a sheep makes), and baba (food). In the past month she has gotten her bottom two teeth without any fussing, just a lot of drooling. We are still cloth diapering and breast feeding. She loves solids, but sometime would rather play with them rather then actually eat them. She is still pretty small at 17.5 lbs and 26ish inches and in the past month just started fitting into a 6-9 month onesie. Attached is a pic taken sometime last month.

OMG Katie, she's so cute! I'm at work so I can't post a picture. I tried to when I posted the last message and I have a lot of problems with the files being too big. Madelyn already has 2 teeth and we're working on a third and maybe 4th. She's still not sitting independently, she discovered she could stand and never really has cared about sitting on her own. She's acting like she wants to start crawling soon. She's was 15lb 8oz at her 6 month appointment last week and 28 inches. The doctor said she's tall and skinny, but we looked back in my baby book and I weighed the same to the ounce at my 6 month checkup and was just half an inch shorter. We are already in 9 month clothes due to length and I actually put her in a 1 month sleeper last week and was shocked that it wasn't huge on her but actually fit except the arms were a little long. We did do cloth diapers and we love them! I'm still breastfeeding her but we started solids with cereal at 4 months and we got the go ahead to do more foods now. So far she took the sweet potatoes, but vomited up the carrots I tried to give her this morning...I guess I'll try again tomorrow on an empty stomach! She's been babbling DaDa, but nothing else. DH keeps trying to get her to say Mama, I think he knows I'd be really excited about it. I'm just happy that she's babbling away, no matter what she's saying! I'm so glad things are going well. I love hearing updates from everyone here!
