Friday, April 6 was DH and mine 11 year dating anniversary. We don't celebrate Valentine's or Sweetest Day, so we just celebrate our two anniversaries, which are six months apart. I got him Andy Griffith series (his favorite show) and he got me The Addams Family tickets- play. It was a really good show and a nice day! I'm glad it was the first day of my spring break because we wore ourselves out.
Saturday, we took a drive about an hour one way through back roads, so that was a nice relaxing day too! We also bd that day since we are officially abstaining until we TTC using the 0+12 method (sometime b/w Friday, April 13- Monday, April 16). I'll start using OPK around Wednesday since I am just now CD 12 and average O is CD 17, but last month it was CD 20.
Today, I've been doing more research on the family tree. I traced my great grandpa's side (my mom's mom's dad side) to 1750. I have a lot of work to do on my mom's grandma's side. DH and I were talking about taking a trip to VA, so I can obtain documents this summer about my great grandma since that is where she is from. Both of DH and my family are from Kentucky or VA.
If I can trace it to the "old" country then I'd stop, lol.
Dina, I bet you are getting really anxious about testing! Are you having any potential symptoms?
Anyone else out there how are you doing?
Amanda
GL with trying this month! I really hope that thing go well for you and DH. At least you know you haven't had problems getting pregnant easily. I have all my crossables crossed for you.
Dina, I am so sorry you are spotting. I can understand how frustrated you must feel right now. I hope you get some advice/answers soon, so you get your BFPsooner rather than later- you've waited long enough. How does DH deal with TTC?
I am totally freaking out... It is only CD14 and I took my first OPK today for this month and it was (+). Last month it was CD 21 and typically CD17, now CD14. What gives?! I know I have a 13 day LP, so should I test or expect AF sooner? DH is aggravated of course since now we have only astained from bd for two days vs. seven like we're supposed to. But I've been really strict with my "girl" diet, vitamins, douching, and everything else this method requires. Looks like today is the day! Eek! DH said he'd rather wait since we haven't abstained long enough, but I'd rather have the extra month to try if need be and I've went through 2 losses/had to wait four months in between pregnancies, so even though I have my preferences for a girl, I'll take either at this point.
I have no idea how to even calculate edd either given the early ovulation, so I just went from ovulation and LP, I could be due (if I get knocked up) b/w January 1 (based on O/LP) up to January 5 (based on average 31 day cycle length). Neither of us like our kid to have a birthday in the winter, but we're both ready to be parents and I told him at least by the summer they will be old enough to sit up in a floatie for the pool. Aah, I am so nervous- I hope this one sticks!
Hi girls, just dropping in super quick. DH and I flew to Portland OR and back this past weekend for my DSD's 10th birthday and I'm still exhausted from it. We were home by 6 pm Sunday and back to work Monday. This weekend I have to go to a conference Friday - Sunday for work. :( Booooo No restful weekends for me! I'm pooped.
Miss you both Dina and Amanda - hang in there and keep your heads up! We'll all be moms someday soon! (((HUG)))
I bet you are wore out... that sounds like a really exhausting weekend. I'm glad you're still hanging around and popping in from time to time. It's nice to hear that you have a lot of things to occupy your time. Won't you be TTC agian next month or is it June? I know it seems like an eternity- I've been there, but as long as you have things that keep you busy, it'll be
E- I miss you and I hope everything is going well for you.
Amanda- FX'd that you can get a quick BFP again quickly.
