Hi everyone!

It's a little weird to actually be posting on here because I've been lurking for so long. Anyway, my husband and I (both 29) just started TTC #1 after two years of marriage. We are SO excited and so ready...well, I guess as ready as you can be! However, after sharing the heartbreak with several close friends dealing with infertility or m/c, we are going into this with a very humble attitude (e.g. IF it happens, not WHEN it happens). It also makes me nervous that, after 6 months of charting, I just keep showing one "fluke" after another (LP anywhere from 8-13 days, anovulation one month, inconsistent patterns, etc.). I've read and re-read TCOYF, am taking B-Complex and am probably looking up more information than I should. :) We've officially given it a go this month and will see if anything happens.

Welcome! I'm 29 as well (I'm beginning to think this is a big Biological Clock age--there are a lot of us here!), and have been TTC for 7 months. I lurked awhile before I posted, too--funny how you can feel like you already "know" people before you actually post, isn't it? :)

Welcome! And congrats on taking the TTC plunge! :) Hopefully you don't get in as deep as most of us here are Longtimers... No fun :(.

But just to put your mind at ease, it is completely normal to have an annovulation cycle here and there, it's if it is repeated every cycle that it can be a problem. B6 will help with your LP, but so will other things, like Clomid, which can only be prescribed by your OB. I just wanted to know if you have recently stopped BC? That can make your cycles a little wacky after you stop it.

And don't be shy in asking questions, there are no stupid or embarrassing questions here!! So feel free to vent if you need to as well. We all know what you are going through! Which is why we are all here :)

Good luck to you!

Good luck! If you are already charting, you are ahead of the game. You may also want to try red raspberry leaf tea to help with your luteal phase. I found it in the health food/organic section at my grocery store.

Thanks, y'all! It's pretty exciting and crazy to actually be doing this. To answer your questions, I'm currently charting through the TCOYF website. It's is a slooooow website, but I like the (free) features. And I'm too lazy to re-enter everything into FF. :)
