Hello everyone. I have been stalking for quite some time, still a little shy, but I sure am getting more bold these days. Can't say me and my fiance have been 'trying', but we're not using BC, so we're just letting it happen I guess. We would be married by now, but my in-laws live over seas and I just can't wed without them! With the full support of family and friends, We're jumping onto the baby makin' train! CHOO CHOO! lol

I do tend to fear judgement of our situation, not being married and still being pretty young (20), but we've talked for a long time on this. We've been together 4 years, living together for 2, live by ourselves, pay for our own things, he has a full time job making very good pay and I'm a stay at home artist and part-time worker at my fiance's work. We're both martial arts instructors (he's a certified, I'm just at my first level) and soon will be having his own school in a year (thanks to his boss). We've done our homework and have a passion for being parents, so we figure 'why not?' My mom told me to just listen to my gut, because my heart will always say yes, my gut will say otherwise, but I trust it. No matter what comes first, baby or wedding, we're completely prepared. We hate bars, clubs, parties, and eating out (unless it's our usual once or twice a month trip to our aunt's sushi bar), so I don't think we'll be missing much :)

I just thought I'd share this strange dream. I had a dream I had a baby. It felt like I spent a week in my dream. I went to sleep, woke up to a baby crying, fed the baby, put it back down, went back to sleep, woke up to a brand new day and the cycle continued. But it was all just one dream in a single night. Needless to say, I woke up very confused and felt a little crazy. I seriously walked around my home, looked at my body, just to see if I had a baby. My brain hates me. lol

I hope we all make it to that next level and I have truely come to admire those who just keep trying. My sister is having trouble getting pregnant and the last thing I want her to do is to quit trying. Keep on workin' it :) God always has a plan for you!

Thank-you for your kind and encouraging words. I think we all need to hear that once in a while. (I've been TTC for 7 cycles, hopefully #8 brings better luck). You sound older than your age and definately more mature. Welcome to the board and best of luck to you too with whichever comes first :)

Thank you :) I'm trying not to grow up too fast, but being that we were pretty much able to start our careers right out of highschool, while still being able to do our hobbies, you just can't help but grow up and love every minute of it. God has given me and my fiance a blessed life.

YES! Keep trying and always remember you have cheerleaders from all over the world praying for you and waiting for that BFP :)

Welcome aboard! Nobody can tell you when the best time to have a baby is, it has to be right for you. I have 2 friends who had their first kids at 20 (both were "oops") and they're doing just fine! One is even now married to "baby daddy." Parenting isn't a light matter and it sounds like you both are prepared for it. Keeping communication open in any relationship is important and as long as you're on the same page you should go for it. I hope it happens for you when the time is right!
