Good morning ladies. I am new to this board. My name is Tiffany, my husband is Jodie. We are on month 3 of clomid, and TTC for a year. I don't have a lot of support because my mom believes that any fertility treatment causes breat cancer (long story), so I can't tell her that we are getting help.

Welcome Tiffany! That is great you are getting help and I hope Clomid does the trick for you! That is too bad your mom has such a strong opinion and can't support you in this journey. The ladies here are great, everyone is supportive and can help you talk the stuff on your mind! FX the clomid does its thing and you can get your BFP!

Welcome to the board Tiffany! I'm so happy you found us because this really is a great place to find support, especially when you don't have it IRL. The women here are awesome and have been my extended family for over two years. I hope you find that same friendship...but hopefully your journey isn't too much longer!

Even when advice (whether solicited or not) comes from a good place, it's not always welcome. I'm sure your mom has your best interests in mind but you also are in charge of your body! I hope the Clomid does the trick for you this time around. What dose are you taking?

Sending loads of baby dust!

Thank you all for the warm welcome!!

Kim- This is my third month at 50mg, if we don't get BFP on this cycle, we'll move up to 100mg for three months, and then 150mg for three months. After that we will probably do some more testing My husband is doing an SA this week, and I've done an ultrasound of the pelvis to check for any obvious issues, which, thankfully there were none.

Wow, they're giving you lots of time with the Clomid. Most docs do 6 months max but I know some allow longer. How many follies are you getting on 50? How is it treating you?

They haven't been checking me to see how many follies I've been having, maybe I'll ask my doctor about that tomorrow. They just have me taking the Clomid days 5-9 and then BD every other day 7- 14.

So far, I'm not loving the Clomid, it is more of a means justify the ends type of thing. I get nasuea, headache, and dizzy spells the entire week I take it. I'm sorta dreading uping the dose because I suspect that the side effects would get worse.
