I don't have too much advice but I don't want to let you know that when I went off BC for the first time a few years ago -- I went over two months without a period. I went to the doc and they did a blood pg test and it was negative. It was simply the BC messing with my cycle.
Also this time I went off BC in Jan. and I'm still having CRAZY cycles. This summer they were super short and now they are longer...so I don't know. All I know is our bodies are super crazy and there really isn't any "normal" in all of this!

Hi Carlene :) No advice from me, as I'm very new to TTC and am only on my first cycle off the pill. Just wanted to say welcome! :) I hope you stick around and post a lot.
Welcome Carlene! So glad you found us :) I do hope your stay is short and sweet and that you get your BFP soon!!
You've probably heard it a million times, but your periods could be effected after coming off BC for many months. Some people regulate right away, others take a while. I wouldn't rule out pregnancy just yet, I mean it's not official until you get a BFP on a HPT or bloodwork. I would go in for the bloodwork just to ease your mind.

have decided this in a very interesting road to take that causes a lot of emotions that I otherwise would normally not have. Not sure I am liking that part of it. But long story short My sister and I were discuss the issues I have expereinece as she just had a similar problem of not having a period for a few months after having her "copper T" taken out. She emailed me a picture today to confirm if she was or was not pregnant. Normally this wouldn't have bothered me at all infact i would have been really happy that she asked me questions like that as we are very close but today it really made me upset. Now granted I am very excited for her and for my unborn neice or nephew but it was just like a soccer punch when I was already down. alright enough with that.
