Hi there, I haven't gone through the same as we're just starting out, but I just wanted to let you know I read your post and am sorry that some aren't so understanding. I'm sure they can't know how you feel. It must make it more difficult and frustrating for you to be surrounded by baby stuff all the time - I know it probably would me as well.

I hope the acupuncture works for you. My husband pulled a muscle in his shoulder a couple of years ago and with no insurance at the time the doctors would not really do anything for him. He tried going to a chiropracter (before we realized it was a torn muscle) and it didn't help that much. He was taking so much advil a day just to get by. He finally learned about acupuncture and gave it a try - in about 5 months he was amazingly better. He now only goes about 3 times a year for maintenance. What a life saver! Anyway, I hope it works wonders for you as well - I'm a definite believer in it.

As for your situation, if someone can't relate to your situation and isn't being that nice about I doubt you're going to change their point of view any time soon. I'd just focus on yourself and do what you can. If you feel up to participating in thing - do - but if not - don't. And try not to beat yourself up about it. It is what it is and you can only do what you can do.

Hi Bekah! I completely relate to how you feel, being 19 months ttc now. You didn't mention, but have you seen an infertilty doc yet? It seems odd that you have done so many Clomid cycles when doing Clomid for more then 6 cycles at a go can cause your CM to dry up, thus counter acting your efforts.

I have seen a specialist, he is the one stuck on the clomid.

Hi and welcome! Sorry you're not getting the support from others that you need. Just remember those who dont have to go through the heartache and trouble you do in trying to get a baby here just don't understand. If you don't feel up to going to baby stuff then by all means don't. I for a long Time avoided everything family/baby related, and then when 2 years turned into 5 years i figured if I couldn't have kids I was going to love my nieces and nephews as if they were mine. And then 5 years just turned into 7 and I'm really behind! Lol. But font let TTC being you down. I wanted to ask If your clomid cycles are monitored? Do you have then do a follie check? What dosage are you on? Has your DH been tested? It's just one tiny test for DH to do as compared to many for you. Good luck and keep us posted. Don't worry about venting here because we all understand what you're going through!

Welcome aboard!! I'm at the end of my 3rd round on Clomid, that stuff is very frusterating in itself. Hopefully the acupuncture does help along the process! It's very normal to feel how you do around the baby stuff. This is a very tough journey for us who have to wait & 90% of ppl don't have a clue what we go through. I also get very angry with those who refuse to see where I'm coming from. It has caused several drifts in our relationships but it's outta my control. Not sure what the right answer is to handle but ignoring them works for me :)

Good for you! I learned the hard way to be very proactive, I lost a lot of time listening to "be patient" advice. Welcome the our little community. I think you'll find the ladies here are really awesome. I know that this board has really saved my sanity.

the clomid cycles are being semi monitored, we have done the ultrasounds and there have been follies but nothing has come from it; the doctor has basically told me we know you are ovulating, so 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' kind of attitude.

Unfortunately I have now learned that unless others have gone through what you are going through, they just don't understand and struggle to empathize with you.
