Hello ladies! Hope everyone is well. I haven't checked in on you for a while, I get so caught up with work and DH's school that I don't look at all the posts as much as I would like too! But I will get better.

Welcome to the newbies! I hope the ladies here are being nice to you, and that you feel welcomed :) Go ahead and tell us a little about yourselves and then ask away on any questions you might have for other ladies on the board. You never know! There could be someone out there that knows just how you feel :) which mostly everyone here does :)

Amanda- I LOVE black Friday sales! DH and I will sit up all night for them! We mostly go just to watch the ladies fight over a toy for their kids, and it's even funny when it's grandparents fighting for toys for grandkids! LOL I mean really??? Come on! DH and I usually have our Christmas shopping done by the beginning of November, but because of school and everything we haven't done any! OOPS we are late this year! haha, so Black Friday shopping we may be those crazys fighting LOL Stay safe!!

Name/Location: E, Virginia
Where you at in your cycle: Just a few days off the pill, watching and waiting for something to happen!
What are you Thanks Giving plans: Nothing confirmed yet, my family is local so usually dinner at my parents. DH is a manager in retail though so holidays are really busy for him.
Any traditions you'd like to share with us: I might have to start a tradition of baking some goodies and bringing them to DH and his co-workers during all the crazy holidays. They are working such long hours with little to no breaks!

How are my fellow newbies doing?

I am trying to relax and enjoy a long weekend, but have too long of a to do list! :) On the TTC front, we are technically not supposed to be trying just yet, but after several talks think we just might go for it! My DH S has age worries, since he is 9 years older than me and very concerned about being an "old" dad. :(

How's everyone else?

E- I can understand DH wanting to quickly conceive with the age difference. I think it's more important for women (35 and under) then men. I worry about the age thing too and I'm 27, but by the time we have a kid, I'll be 28 (DH 30). I Know that's not old, but it's old in our circle of friends and family who already are finished by the time they are our age. DH cousin's (David & Scotty) both have babies. David is 25 and his baby is a year old. Scotty is 23 and he just had his first. David's wife is currently pregnant with her second and Scotty's wife said they're going to try again when the baby is a year old.

I was talking to my aunt the other day and I was telling her what we're doing to TTC like taking my temps twice a day, ovulation test, vitamins, and choosing a hospital. She was like wow, I never met anyone who planned it like that. I had to explain to my aunt and cousins (Bridget, David's wife and Katie, Scotty's wife) that you ovulate mid-cycle- typically

Yay for O'ing Dina! :)

I don't have any living grandparents either :( And my parents are in their 60's. It's something I've thought about when it comes to being ready to TTC. I want my kids to know my parents! I wish they could have great grandparents too, but that's unfortunately just not possible.

That's kind of funny about the dream. It must really be on his mind a lot. Yes, the statistic is very encouraging, so I hope this is our month too. Every month, I always"pre-calculate" my EDD. I told DH that if we got pregnant this month, we'd be out of 1st Trimester by the end of January (when we'll actually tell people during
