Always look for support outside of your circle. You will make some really good friends :)

Welcome to the board! I know you will find women on the board that have answers to your every question, and you will find people that are experiencing the exact same thing as you.

First things first, I know you

Welcome to our group! There are a ton of really informed but, more importantly, really supportive women who, if they've not yet been exactly where you are, have a great capacity to empathize. I have been TTC for 10 months and can honestly say that the last year of that has been made much easier because of thise board.

I know the feeling of having friends and familty announce their pregnancies and wanting so badly to be happy for them but, deep down, feel some resentment/jealousy. I, personally, have been diagnosed with a Uterine Anomally (Uterus Didelphys) but will be seeing a new RE at the end of the month for more answers. I know it is a stressful situation but so much hope can be provided by seeking out experts and getting answers. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions you may have!

*Hugs*

I meant I've been TTC for 19 months, not 10. Hopefully this is all of our month - how funny if this board was wiped clean with just one month!

Welcome to the boards. There aren't too many girls who will say that this was the journey that they thought it would be. I think a big problem is they educated so much on preventing pregnancy and teaching that in our schools, but they don't educate that it can take a year on average to get pregnant even for a health couple with no problems.

I can tell you to try to not stress about it, but it's easier said than done. I think what has helped me the most was once I started educating myself on my cycle and charting and tracking ovulation. That way I know how my cycles are and can look at the big picture of what's happening with my body. I don't know if doing the basal body temps is right for you, but a lot of the girls just do the ovulation predictor kits (OPK's) to track O. I personally use both and feel like at least I know what's going on and it has helped my stress level.

I've been here close to a year, but not quite. I work at a primarily female environment and there's always a handful of girls who are pregnant, plus I have friends who have gotten pregnant during the time we've been trying without success. It's so frustrating and I don't feel like myself when I get these jealous feelings and I don't always know how to deal with them. The girls here are great and don't mind if you need to vent. They always seem to know what to say to help you through whatever frustration you're going through.

I hope things will quickly get better for you and that you'll get your BFP soon. Have you seen your doctor yet since it's been one year of trying? Usually 1 year is the point when they start doing testing and see if there are any other reason you're having problems conceiving. FX'd that you get some answers soon:)
