Hi all, I'm new here.

I didn't get my last depo shot (2/10) and it's now been 9 months.

Hi there, welcome aboard! I was never on depo, but did take bcp for a long time prior to ttc. The general rule is that your cycles will go back to how they were pre-birth control (regardless of the method) within 6 months. Outside factors, such as stress, can affect your cycles although consistent irregularity can be the sign of a bigger problem (eg PCOS or anovulation).

Are you doing anything to track your cycles so you know when you ovulate or how long your LP is? I recommed OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) and charting your BBT (basal body temeprature), both of which provide great insight about your reproductive body. If you click on my cycle ticker on the box below, you'll see all of my cycle charts.

As far as stress relief, I don't have any great advice because I still need to find ways to do that myself. My biggest relief is when I'm physically active (like going to the gym consistently) and I notice a direct correlation to how I feel and whether or not I'm moving. TTC is fun (aka BD!) so take advantage of that and enjoy your partner, especially now that you're waiting to actively try.

Congratulations to you on losing that weight! That will certainly help you and sets you up for continued great health. Check out the Newbie Guide to TTCYFC for some great info and to learn more about the board. I'm glad you found us, and look forward to getting to know you!
