Very new to all of this!

I'm very excited now, but was not sure I would ever get to this point. DH and I lived together for 8 years before we married 3 years ago. So basically from the day we married, everyone has been asking us when we are having a baby.

TTC was way down the list during school, then grad school, then the beginning and ramp-ups of our careers. And suddenly I hit the age of 35 and started seeing babies everywhere!

I have been using a calendar to track my cycle since October, started taking prenatal vitamins in December, and had my 9 year-old copper IUD removed at the end of January. So I'm VERY new to all of this.

Glad to be here with people who know what they are doing!

Hi there, you will find a bevy of beautiful ladies here who are supportive and wonderful. I recommend reading Taking Control of Your Fertility, it's a great resource, also, there are a lot of things you can do, OPK's, fertility monitors, the fertility friend with temping (I think, I don't use it, I use an Ovacue), but there are tons of options.

I hope your stay here is short, but don't worry, nothing here is too taboo nor is it silly, we will rant with your every vent LOL or tear up with you when you need it too!

Good luck getting your BFP soon!

Welcome! I am new to TTC also. My husband surprised me with an 'early birthday present' last month of TTC earlier than expected. We were originally waiting until May....but DH decided he was ready and wanted to start trying sooner! Our first cycle was a bust.....but we're ready for cycle #2! I should be ovulating later this week! :)

I have been temping since this summer, when I had a couple of wacky periods (both were only 1 1/2 days long - and very light!) So I have gotten pretty good at knowing my body.

I wish you tons of luck! :)

Hi there! Welcome to the board! As all of the ladies have already said, this is the perfect place to be while you're ttc. Everyone has loads of information and experiences to share, and remember that nothing here is TMI. I second the recommendation to Taking Charge of Your Fertility, as well as checking out fertilityfriend.com, as they both have loads of great information. Check out the Newbie Guide to TTCYFC for helpful board information, and let me know if you need anything. I look forward to getting to know you on your hopefully short journey!

Welcome! I hope your journey is short and sweet! Like everyone else said the ladies here are great and educating yourself with TCOYF is a good start.

Welcome and best of luck! I too, put off TTC until grad school was done and steady employment secured. LOL, now DH is in school. Oh, well. We're not waiting any longer. This is a great board. Post away. Nothing is TMI.
