OTC Male Fertility Test?

The FDA has just approved an at home male fertility test, you can read more about it at this link: http://www.ivillage.com/new-test-lets-men-check-their-sperm-count-home/6-a-213145?ice=iv:mb:msg:mm.

It's a cheap alternative to getting a semen analysis done, but I'm worried that they could get a false sense of security since it doesn't look at motility or morphology.

I think these are a great idea for someone who may be leary to go do an actual SA, or as a starting point before going to the dr. The problem is that there is such a huge margin for error, and can cause unnecessary alarm or a false sense of security.

Has anyone used one of these?

I have changed my personal opinion related to this. My DF just got his semen analysis and his count was fine, 25 mil, but he had BAD motility problems and a minor hopefully fixable morpholgy problem. You need the full picture. Sperm count can be fine, but motility and morphology are HUGE pieces of the puzzle when TTC. Just my opinion, if I had done the OTC sperm test I would never have found out the big picture and would still be blaming myself for everything and wondering why it has not happened yet.
