Thanks Maddie- even though I haven't been diagnosed with it, I highly suspect that I have it. This is very comforting to know... it's just the fact of getting pregnant the FIRST time!!!
Anyways, this was a very nice and upbeat story... nice to hear.

Kim--- i had acne since i was 15, up until i was 23. i still get pimples here and there, but NOTHING like before. it didn't even cross my mind back then that PCOS could be the problem... 1) my older half brother (on my moms side) had bad acne (but not from my mom, from his dad; my mom has beautiful skin) and 2) my dad used to have acne and my cousin has it bad too.
Anyways, my dermatologist stuck me on accutane... which of course you are not supposed to get pg on it, but back then i wasn't concerned about that. i didn't have too bad of side effects. mainly just dry dry skin, which i bought special moisturizer for it and my back hurt a little... but nothing too severe!
besides a few blemishes here and there, my skin has cleared up majorly... and i have gotten compliments on it from my gma who i don't see very often!
and yes, the whiskers on the chin!!!! annoyinnngggggg!!!! but the funny thing is, i only have them on one side of my face. coincidentally on the side where i have a scar...
anyways... point is: i feel your pain! :)
