Sorry hun. It is common for insurances to cover only testing up to treatment, and nothing for treatment. There are those insurances out there that will cover IVF ONCE in the lifetime (lucky buggers who have that). I believe insurances won't cover something like that because IF it happens once, it's bound to happen again. Which sucks for those of us who deserve children and can't get them here.
insurance just plain sucks. my old plan covered everthing, up to IVF if you'd been trying for a year. i reached that year point JUST after having to switch plans, and the new one doesn't cover much at all.
i had a HSG done. i'm still waiting to see what insurance will pay, if anything, but i know the total bill was just over $1,400. yikes!
good luck and baby dust! hopefully you'll get preggers with the clomid and you won't have to worry about dealing with insurance and paying out of pocket for any treatment!
