Im 2 weeks late for AF THOUGHT i was having symptoms but my tests kept coming off negative. Finally went to the Dr. And got a blood test.. Negative.. I was sooo sure this was it. Once again starting over.. But now wondering whats wrong with me that AF is no where in sight. Me and my BF have been TTC for over a year now.
I hope im not offending anyone.. I know a year isnt as long as some have been, all I ever wanted was to be a mom. Yeah im only 21 and I have plenty of time but its soo frustrating.. I guess it might be time for both of us to get tested and make sure everything is ok.

You can get it run at the drs office but when you start temping it can tell you the same. Bbt rises after O due to progesterone so you will know where you are based on your temps. Great book, I highly reccomend it! I did feel overwhelmed with it cause I felt like I knew nothing, lol. GL to you!!

((((HUGS)))) I'm so sorry you didn't get good news from the doctor. Since you are at the one year mark, please do consider have a chat with your doctor. The first step tests are bloodwork and are easy to do with your general practioner or your ob/gyn.

Please don't ever worry about offending anyone, you're TTC, one month, 6 months, one year or six years, it doesn't matter, you're still hurting and fighting for something that you want.

In answer to your question, Progesterone is a hormone that spikes when you ovulate, and is necessary for maintaining a pregnancy. If it stays high, it prevents AF from starting. It is a blood test to determine your levels.

I wasnt doing temping or opks but im getting the book ive heard so much about "taking charge of your fertility" and gonna get a Basal body thermometer and start temping.. Maybe that will help.. Hope it doesnt make me more crazy though.. Do you have to go to the dr to check progesterone or?

Stupid phone hit post, sorry. Anyways when your progesterone drops that's when AF comes. Maybe yours is still high from O or if you didn't O it's still waiting for it to happen. I'd suggest you temp to see what's going on in your body & def ask your dr for suggestions. HTH & GL!!

When you want it really bad a month seems like forever so don't worry ;) I would wonder what your progesterone level is
