Susan, I'm sure that if you find out you're pg you and DH would both be excited, even if it wasn't exactly what you had planned with your new job and all. I'm still trying even with starting a new job and I'm not always sure if that was a good decision or not, but my doctor was willing to do Clomid and I didn't want to delay this any further. I've wanted children for a few years now but wanted to be married first and then when I was ready DH wanted to wait and get a house bought.

I guess, just see what happens and if you're pg then just love that it was a happy surprise and I'm sure things with the new job would fall into place! FX'd that you could still be pg....and if not then I hope you and DH can figure out what your plans are for next cycle whether it be waiting or trying.
Keep us posted either way!

The job is low responsibility so it wont be stressful so working whilst pg wouldn't be much of a problem. The only thing with conceiving before being employed for 14 weeks is you don't get maternity pay. The government don't offer much of a substitute either (I think its £50 a week but Im not sure). We shall see. If I am that would be amazing and if not we will just try again next time. Life is always going to throw things into the mix that we have to contend with whether its a new job or something else. Its nearly Monday so not long to wait now....
