This wait will take forever for the appointment to get here. New Braunfels is only 12 hours away luckily. In the meantime, I can work on my weight loss. Gonna get super sexy for my man because once VR is here, I don't know how I'll keep my hands off him!!!

Wow Amy! That's so strange how each of our kids are born in the same year. I just turned 30 in October of last year.
Haha...that's right. I already booked the appointment so no turning back now not that he would. He knows how much I've been obsessing about the timing of the procedure and charting my cycles.
Its kind of funny because he was asking me about buying a car in El Paso and before I said yes, I asked him if it was okay to book his VR appointment. I figured if he was in a positive mood and asking for something he wanted, I could do the same while we were negotiating.
I told him I booked the appointment and he told me he doesn't want to know anything about what's going to happen because then he'll worry and might change his mind. So all knowledge is being kept locked up in my brain. I'm making him take a daily vitamin with vitamin A. He just gets a grimaced look on his face when I talk about it but I'm sure everything will go as planned. We're only 4 years out from the original V, so our chances are good, as are yours!!
Does your DH know the details of the procedure? Is that why he's freaking out? My husband jokes about he's just not thrilled about the doctor holding a scalpel to his stuff again. But he's such a trooper!

Yay! Good luck! We went to Dr. Roeder in January and we loved him. He is the most wonderful doctor. Alot of the girls here will agree.

Thanks for all the well wishes!! I'm very excited that I have such an experienced group of ladies to learn from. Without this board, I wouldn't know what vitamins to take, what to watch out for post-op or about SA counts. So thank you everybody for rockin' this board :D
Amy, yeah we can be TTC buddies for sure. I'm charting now so I know when to try BDing for optimal results (we want another girl, God willing!) but we wouldn't mind a boy either. Both will be loved just the same. I would like to start TTCing right away but with the Shettles method and specifically trying for a girl, it takes a bit longer to conceive since intercourse needs to occur further out from ovulation and can nix the chances of active sperm hanging around at all once the egg finally does pop out. If it takes too long, we might just have to kick that idea out the window and BD like crazy all cycle long! Hehehe
