Help!!! SA today and all the sperm were dead :(

I have not been on here in awhile, it was just easier to not think about since we are not getting pregnant. Our background is DH had vasectomy in 1999, the Dr. Roeder did the VR on 4/29/10 we have been trying ever since. I can admit there has been time when our commitment to this journey has been lacking but with no BFP it has been a struggle. So after getting some other matters straighted around in our lives we have started the process again. Today we went for his first SA and the Dr. says well I have good news and bad... good news is that the VR did work beccause we have whole sperm that made it through, but the bad all of them are dead. When DH had the VR, he had tons of active swimmers, Dr. R actually laughed and said we should have no problem. Well here we are 16 cycles later and completely clueless as to our next step. This urologist said he had no clue, because that is not his area, he just makes sure the plumbing works...a real comedian too! He gave us a name Dr. Shane Russel, I called but did not get a call back. Because of DH's age and our agreement before the VR, I only have 11 cycles left to get a BFP, starting to really worry. Any advice would be appreciated. Anybody else have dead sperm on a SA?

I just wanted to say I'm sorry you guys are going through this. I can't imagine getting that news. Did they say anything about him having antibodies that were killing his sperm?

No they didn't actually this Urologist was completely lost, his exact words were "Hey I just fix plumbing, baby batter is not my specialty", I think he was trying to lighten the mood with humor, but I was pretty heartbroken. Well after a lot of research and speaking to the other Dr. office's staff we think he has
