My boyfriend and I are just in the beginning stages of looking for a surgeon to do a vr. It's been 6 years since he had the surgery and he is currently 34 and I am 31 at the moment. We found one surgeon here and we are going to have to save up to about a year or so to have the surgery. If it's already been 6 years is it even worth a try? He already has three children, but I have none and it's important for me to have a least one child. It's really been taking a toll on me lately. I never thought I'd be someone who cared all that much, but I'd like a child. Thanks for you help. Also anyone used any surgeons in Minnesota? If so what was the price range?

You are still young, and I don't think a year is too long to wait. You could see if your ob could run some initial tests on you to check your fertility levels. It's worth it if you really want a child.

I don't think it's been too long. There are ladies that post on here whose husband's vasectomies were 10 years before the VR. I hope you can get the VR soon! Good luck and welcome to the boards!
