Christine - Can't wait to hear if you're pg or not!! GL! :) We haven't yet sold our current house, but are in the process of trying. It's a long story, but basically because I'm the only one on our current mortgage, so DH can qualify for the new house on his own and I actually qualify for a program under the 'Making Homes Affordable' program that will help us sell our house. If you guys love your neighborhood, could you consider adding on to your house or renovating it to make more space somehow?

Emmy - I love the blowing kisses while nursing!! Aw, this age is so fun, isn't it? Juliet is such a doll. Yes we are getting a bit more space in the new house, going from 900 sq feet to 1350... but that's honestly not the driving factor behind the move, we need to get out of our neighborhood, it is really not a good neighborhood for kids (or anyone, it seems lately). So, while we love the house we're buying, it's really the neighborhood we are most looking forward to. There are kids EVERYWHERE, great schools, a ton of stuff is within walking distance... ahhh I'm so excited! Funny you should mention the daffodils, we were just talking about them last night. This year they came up really super short and not many of them even came up, so I think the bulbs are starting to "burn out" :( This is their fourth spring, so maybe that's normal? I don't know. I think we'll just plant some new ones at the new house this fall - daffodils will always remind me of my angel babies and all that we went through to bring Eliza home, I think. So it would be nice to have some at the new house :)

Ash - the trampoline sounds like so much fun! I bet Teddy loves it - and hey at least he can get some energy out at home?!!? The trip to the mountains sounds amazing! And fun to travel with other parents and kids, too.

Emmy,

How exciting for your first overnight as well! I hope it will go as smoothly as ours did.

On vacation he kept trying to jump into the pool by himself (without any floating things on) and would forcefully signal for DH and I to move farther back. One time he got so frustrated with us that he quickly ran to the side and then jumped in.. and of course immediately sunk. DH was in the water and got him right away but all he wanted to do was try it again.

OMG Ash!! That would have totally given me a heart attack! Thank God your DH was in the pool!

How was Spain btw? :-)

Well it actually wasn't that unexpected since he kept trying to do it. He was only under for about a second so it wasn't really scary, although I was shocked that he wanted to do it again- I guess it wasn't scary at all for him LOL

Spain was good!

Name: Morgan

SO's Name: AJ

Baby's/childrens name(s): Halley and Maximilian

How old is/are the LOs: Halley is 8, Max is 9m

Any new milestones or fun stories: Max is very clearly saying "Mama" now, he babbles all the time and we think he can say "ba" for ball and "Papa" for DF, but sometimes it's hard to distinguish. He is cruising and will let go of furniture when standing up for a second or two, but then gets scared and falls on his butt. Oh, and he got his first tooth the day after he turned 9mo!

Halley is so smart! We just got her results from her Iowa Test of Basic Skills and she scored in the 99th percentile. And she is being a bit of a pistol the past couple weeks.

Words that you find saying most often to your LO(s): To Halley: pick up (insert word), to Max: No
