Great news Mari.

Erica, I was really glad to hear about the curriculum fair, it has a lot of religious vendors, but it also has a couple of secular choices, which is where I'll be headed. I am still trying to figure out science and social studies for the fall, I have a concept of what I want but nothing concrete.

Sandy: Hooray on David being mostly potty trained. It is always nice.

Katie: Sorry about the sleep. I know the feeling Sully is teething again so his sleep is all over as well.

Hi everyone I missed.

As for us: We fixed my old computer so I at least have a computer, we'll be wiping it and giving it to the small ones once we fix my computer. It is much better then DH's laptop, but it really needs that wipe and reinstall.

Eloise and Sullivan had their 3 and 1 year appointments on Wednesday. Eloise is 25 pounds 6 ounces and 34 inches tall. That puts her in the 10th percentile for weight and under the 5th for height. Just for comparison Desmond at his 2 year old appointment (a year younger then her) was 35 inches and 27 pounds. She is a tiny little thing!

Sully is 20 pounds 9 ounces and 30 1/2 inches tall. That puts him in the 40th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. He is doing great as well. I figure that it is quite possible he will be bigger then Eloise by their next appointments.

Desmond had his birthday party last weekend which was lots of fun. He loved having it at the jump place and all his friends had fun as well. He is already planning for his 6th birthday.

Not much else going on here, we are going to check out a temple tonight since I really need to find one so Desmond can start religious school in the fall. A bunch of the kids and parents that I like from preschool go to the one we are checking out tonight so hopefully we like it.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thank you for the sig Mary

Hi all!
After a long time, I will attempt to post with my news… Probably not exactly news, just how life has been with two kids!

Things have been both easier and harder than I thought.

Julia is a SUPER easy baby (so far). She sleeps most of the times, and only wakes up to nurse or when she needs her diaper changed. I keep comparing her with the colicky nightmare that was Fede at that age and I can't believe it!!! She does have her crying spells, specially in the late afternoon, but usually walking for a while with her is all that's needed! She looks so much like me at the same age that it is funny (seriously, I will post pictures!), so of course she is a beauty!! ;)

Katie- I can't believe that Z is walking already. He is growing up so fast!!

Christine- DH's parents live about 20 minutes away, and my parents are about 40 minutes away. They are always more than willing to help when it is needed. Sending lots of P & PT's your friends way.

Andi- I can't believe the girls are 10 months old already. Time sure is flying by!

Suzie- Grey sounds like he is such a cutie!

Kate- Glad to hear that Teddy is doing well. Brycen pretty much just babbles too. i have a astigmatism too, I can't remember which eye it is in though.

Sandy- Hope you have a nice visit with your Mom.

Emmy- I don't think that Juliet looks small. I don't have any suggestions on getting her to drink something else, but GL!

Mari- That is awesome news!!

AFM- I've got a yeast infection. I called the doctor and she called something in for me, it's a cream to use for 3 days. We will see if it works or not. I usually only get them while pregnant.

I know a few have asked about my NT scan, and I didn't end up having it. I had a regular u/s because it turns out I am due the beginning of November, not the middle of October so I wasn't fare enough to have it done. We did get to see the baby though. We saw a nice strong heartbeat, and the baby was just starting to wiggle around a little bit. It really still hasn't hit me that I am pregnant.

Brycen is doing so well. He is starting to pull himself up on things (coffee table, entertainment center) and creep along them while holding on. I imagine it won't be too much longer before he gets brave and lets go. I am so happy for all the progress he is making. I still see him as my little baby, but I know he is not. He still wakes up at night. I'ts not every night, but sometimes it is 2 times a night, making me quite tired. All he wants when he wakes up is a bottle and then he goes back to bed. I know I should try and break him of that.

Lucas is 2 now. He had his well visit and is now 25 lbs 3 oz. The doc thinks he is going to be tall and thin like his Daddy. Just in this past week he has started talking up a storm. He copies everything anyone says, so I have to be very careful now in what I say around him.

Cheryl- I also have another yeast infection (2nd in two mos) and bacterial vaginavosis ( not sure of spelling). So the antibiotic they gave me for that caused another yeast infection. She thinks it was coming off the pill that caused it. Hoping I don't get anymore esp since we will TTC in a few months. It may put a damper in that otherwise. Anyway hope you get better.

Thanks for updating Mari!! It sounds like things are going SO well:) It makes me quite excited to have 2! I am sure the jealousy with Fede will just keep getting better and better especially as Julia becomes more interesting to him and not just a baby who does nothing but take away mom and dads attention.

I know so many children who at Fede's age really disliked their siblings (at times) and acted out because of jealousy and then just half a year later had completely mellowed out, and a year later they were their siblings biggest fans and protectors.

I'm sure that as he gets older and things settle down everything will just keep getting better- plus don't forget he is right in the midst of the terrific twos and just trying to figure everything out. I'm sure you are doing fantastic with both of them, and that they both know they are loved and cherished even when they are driving you crazy:)

There is baby apple-prune juice you can buy...will help hydrate her and soften her stools. Also, maybe give her some baby orajel or hylands teething tabs before offering her the bottle. Maybe mix the prune juice with her other spoon solids. Good luck!!

Mari, so glad everything looks good!

Hi everybody else,

AFM, so busy here, I barely have time for anything. I'm posting up in the TTC thread but not TTC and not sure when now. The plan was June after my birthday party but now I dont know. I'm waiting to get a professional registration and i called last week and they are saying at least july before they will know anything and it could be even longer :( And there is a chance I wont get the registration at all for various stupid reasons. This registration is a requirement for my job and a condition of my employment. My manager hasnt brought it up since I was hire so I dont think he cares overly much about it and they are happy with my performance...but I'm SCARED SH**LESS about getting PG and taking my maternity leave and losing my position. DH and I talked and he really wants to TTC before the end of this year, preferably this summer and I was like yeah me too but what about this and he seems to lean towards going for it and taking the risk. I LOVE my job and this could mean my career if it doesnt work out (losing out on a career at the hospital) and the emotional toll I was under while on my last mat leave and trying to find a job was a huge reason why I didnt enjoy my last mat leave, not to mention I dont know if I could handle another setback like this. We also dont want our kids to be spaced too far apart either, so I dont know.

Ugh, I'm so upset and this is just elevating my anxiety. Why cant my career just be "ok" for once? I've worked so damn hard, I'm tired of these stupid roadblocks. I'm trying to just "let go" and wait until July before really freaking out, but there is so many unknowns.

Thanks for listening to my vent.

Mari--Great news! It sounds like things are going really well for you with the kids. And good for you for donating milk. :)

Andi--No real advice. Could you try offering formula with a spoon? It would take forever, but at least it would get it in her. Too much fruit can cause belly issues too.

Cheryl--I love hearing about your boys. I bet it's fun around your house!

Ruby--I'm praying that your registration comes through soon. I know how important your career is to you. ((Hugs))

AFM--Peter has devoloped a love affair with diaper rash cream, and asks for "mecin" all the time. Like, he'll tell me he's pooped and he needs it even if he hasn't. It's comical, but strange too. He's such a weird kid.

I'm guessing it comes from the fact that all he wants to eat is fruit anymore, so he poops a lot (A LOT!). And his is super acidic apparently, so if not changed within 2 minutes, he's red. At least now he can tell us, since it doesn't always smell.

Otherwise, I'm just touched out. He spends all his time digging his knees and elbows into me, and I just need a break. Thank goodness for being in the office today...
