Any new milestones or fun stories: His vocabulary is exploding. he's saying new things everyday. I'm so happy with our new daycare. She is really great with him. Also he is finally going potty when we go out instead of being afraid like he used to. Now if I can only get him to go at home without me asking him.
Words that you find saying most often to your LO(s): no or don't do that
What are you looking forward to this month: My dad is coming this weekend for Easter and my mom is coming to town at the end of April. She doesn't drive but my brother has a conference here so she's going to stay with us for a few days.
Well, my sister was chatting with me the other day and at some point stared at my neck and said "wait a minute", she came and did this Dr. touching stuff and said "You have a thyroid nodule". So now I have to do an u/s of my neck (next tuesday) and probably a needle puncture to check it.
Honestly, I've been really freaked out, thinking all kinds of negative things. Yesterday I gathered some courage and looked it up on the internet. Apparently they are benign in most cases, so I'm a bit calmer about it... But nervous still.
Wish me luck!
Baby's/childrens name(s): Fletcher, Jonah, and Charlotte
How old is/are the LOs: Fletcher is 6.5. Jonah is 3.5. Charlotte is 9months.
Any new milestones or fun stories: Charlotte's front two teeth broke through this week, bringing her up to six teeth. Our life is filled with funny stories. The boys keep us laughing all the time! Jonah told Cory that Cory wasn't allowed to go on the field trip to Gatorland because he might try to throw Jonah in with the gators.
Words that you find saying most often to your LO(s): "Gentle please!"
What are you looking forward to this month: Cory's parents are visiting for Easter, and I am attending my sorority's Founder's Day banquet with a sorority sister who I've known online for many years but have never met in person. I can't wait!
What’s your favorite spring food: This time of year makes me ready for grilling out!
Thanks for starting the thread, Liz. I'll post more later.

How old is/are the LOs: Two years old. I think I can stop counting in months now, lol.
Any new milestones or fun stories: Selin is talking up a storm now, sometimes I just want her to be quiet, lol! She asks "why?" to everything, so that is fun coming up with explanatations for everything. Yesterday my sitter said she caught a bug in a bug catcher and said she wanted to "give the bug a hug". She is a big help around the house and I try to let her be as independent as possible. She still hasn't resumed interest in potty training since DH went on his overseas trip back in Feb. so I'm hoping this summer we can do the "run naked for a week" thing and be potty trained.
Words that you find saying most often to your LO(s): Don't do that, we'll go outside after dinner (girl wants to be outside 24/7!), go ask Baba (DH)
What are you looking forward to this month: Spring break (starts Fri. woohoo!), interviewing for a teaching position next week, and finding out if I'm PG! (more on that in the AFM)
What’s your favorite spring food: We've already started grilling at dinnertime and I make a killer carrot cake for Easter that's delicious AND nutritious!
AFM: We had a fabulous overnight without Selin last Sat. She did great at my parents' house and DH and I spent quality time together. Ended up getting a little "carried away" so now I'm waiting to O this week and then seeing if AF shows on the 22nd. It's a long shot since we DTD like 5 days before O but we're both ok with whatever the outcome is, even though it's earlier than we planned. If I'm not PG this month then we'll have to be more careful about backup until July/August so we can aim for a spring baby.
