How old is/are the LOs: 28 (2.4) months old and 5 months old
Any new milestones or fun stories: Eloise now has her bottom two teeth.
Desmond is now responding to us when we tell him to use his words by saying "No Words!"
Favorite part of August: That it is more then half over? August has been hot, hot and more hot this year, we haven't really done much but go to the pool in the evenings and hang out around the house.

Any new milestones or fun stories: Not really, he's doing better at tummy time now, but still not rolling over or anything...
Favorite part of August: Ummm, I don't know, Dh's brithday is Saturday, that's usually fun, I'm loving this summer, we've been having really mild weather!!

Any new milestones or fun stories: Daphne is attempting to laugh, which is funny bc she doesn't even smile as a reaction yet.
Favorite part of August: Waiting for Sept here, it's hot and when we go for walks at night Daphne gets hot in the slings, it's just too hot for us to be outside much

How old is/are the LOs: 2 and a half months already!
Any new milestones or fun stories: she slept for 10 hours last night! paranoid mommy had to go and check on her at least once though. Also, she's been cooing up a storm lately - she's been cooing for a while now, but lately you can really see the concentration on her face, like she's really trying hard to form words! LOL.
Favorite part of August: the fact that September is right around the corner! Fall is my favourite season, it's the start of a whole string of birthdays (starting with mine) that go right into early January, not to mention it means all the fun holidays are coming soon!

Any new milestones or fun stories: He doesn't generally make a lot of noise, but in the past couple of days, he's started letting out these huge, joyful squawks! They sound so funny and clue me in to what his voice is going to sound like when he finally decides to talk: raspy because of the laryngomalaceaand adorable
Favorite part of August: So far, Ry learning to pull to stand on furniture :).

Any new milestones or fun stories: Reaching for, grabbing, and sticking everything within arms reach into his mouth. He's also starting to discover his feet.
Favorite part of August: I've started back teaching Irish dance and so far I really like the kids in my classes!

How old is/are the LOs: nearly 6 months!!
Any new milestones or fun stories:
He's crawling forward now as well as backwards and rolling. He tries to sit himself up (doesn't always work though!) and sits unsupported without toppling over now. He's not really babbling yet, but definitely "talking" more and trying new sounds! We've also started introducing solids and he likes proper foods (like a whole strawberry) better than mashed up food or purees; and he's drinking water from a cup now (which is a relief as he won't take bottles!). He's now into banging things together/against the wall or furniture, which can be very noisy; sleeping in his own room now (and sleeping through again!) and slightly better at daytime sleep.
Favorite part of August: I can't believe Teddy is going to be half a year tomorrow. Half a year! Where did that time go! We also had our wedding anniversary which was fun (we went to the zoo with Teddy) and our first night out together as a couple (MIL was babysitting). Dreading my upcoming birthday though (30 - eek!).
