Dove is 3 now. She is growing like a weed.

Kiddos: Peter Amias, 11 months

Tell us something each kid is up to: Peter finally got one tooth about three weeks ago, and is now working on 5(!) more. It looks like he's going to have one on bottom and his top eye teeth first, and then the other on bottom and the top middle two. He also had a virus this weekend, so it's been a blast around our house...

He can now point to wherever he wants to go, which is nearly always outside. He loves going out and petting the cat, or playing with Sam in the house. I never thought I would have a cat who could tolerate a baby sitting on him. Peter is also now shaking his head no at us. He does it if we say the word, or if we tell him not to do something.

What are you looking forward to this month?: My birthday is the end of the month, so I'm looking forward to that. Sean has promised to redeem himself after the Mother's Day fiasco. We'll see. I'm also planning to put in for a promotion at work. The girl above me just promoted up, and I'm already training for the position. It would be a pretty substancial raise, which would be nice (and helpful for baby #2).

In other news, I'm planning to POAS Friday. I've been having cramping and pulling since Saturday, and it feels suspiciously like round ligament pain. When I told Sean about it Saturday, he said the exact same thing he said before I got my BFP with Peter. So we'll see what happens with that...

Liz, Simon did something similar with teeth. He got two and then another 6 worked there way in. Good luck with the POAS and the promotion. I'm so jelouse of all you ttc gals and this was DH's and I original time line to start this month. :(

Emmy, I know what you mean about the heat. Simon's poor face gets soo red when we are outside. I don't think the closed bid house is going to happen. I'll fill in below.

AFM, today is DH's last day with us. He will be headed back North tomorrow. I am so glad he found atleast a temp job but at the same time I was prepared to have him here for a few weeks to help with things and such. Maybe this will be better. I'm sure going to miss him as Simon is. I have been making him take care of simon most of the time so they get some extra time together. Simon is going to be so mad with daddy gone. I know in the long run he won't remember but I'm sure that doing this now with the terrible twos looming it could make things interesting for mommy the next 10 months.

The house we looked at that had the sealed bid and fell in love with. Well we came home and did some more homework. When you look at it it has this huge fenced in yard. Part of the pull for us as we would rather live in the county with a few acres but with my job we can't. Anywho, if you go back and read the paper the house is actually on

Kiddos: DSD Halley Marie (7), DS Maximilian Charles (5 weeks)

Tell us something each kid is up to: Halley is quickly becoming a little spit-fire. I think it might have to do with her mom and stepdad having problems and us having just had the baby so everything is kind of changing for her. She loves her little brother and loves to hold him and carry him and she got to give him a bottle of pumped BM the last time she was here so she was thrilled about that. She starts 2nd grade in

Kiddos: Juliette and Elia, almost 2 months already!

Tell us something each kid is up to: Getting fat! Both girls are over 8-1/2lbs and I'd guess they'll be at 9 by their 2 month dr. appt next week. Juliette is becoming super social and loves to sit and stare at us, make lots of eye contact, and is only happy doing tummy time if we're right there talking to her and patting her. Elia is tracking everything like crazy, batting at the hanging toys on her gym with some semblance of purpose to her arm movements and scootching herself across the mat.

What are you looking forward to this month?: Getting out! We got our double stroller (Baby Jogger City Mini) this week and with the Snuzzler inserts the girls can lay down and go for a stroll and I can get out of the house with both of them. Mama's a happy girl.

Emmy – Evan’s cousin is about 2 months younger than him. They have never met (they live on the west coast, and we live in Ontario), so that will be exciting! Glad your nipples are doing better! That always makes for a better day, right?

Liz – 5 teeth! Wow! Hopefully it doesn’t take too long for them to come in. Happy birthday later this month! I hope Sean steps up this time. Good luck with POAS!

Cassie – I hope your last day together was a good one. It will be a tough transition for everyone, but I’m sure you’ll get used to your new normal in no time. Good luck searching for a house.

Morgan – I remember we did the same thing with Evan and his naps. He would get overly tired and then fight sleep like crazy. I just started putting him down two hours after he woke up and that seemed to work for a while. Of course, once I got used to that, he would switch it up, but it gets easier! As for a freezer stash, just try to get as much frozen as you can! When do you go back to work?

Andi – So glad they’re gaining weight well and you’re feeling better now that you have the scale. I can understand how it would be tough not to compare the girls. I mean, we do it by nature with other kids, let alone when there is another one right there all the time!

Ella – that’s so cute about Eliza repeating everything! Ugh about going back to school, but that’s still a month away at least!

AFM - Evan is huge into army crawling but he just can't get the all-fours crawling. He's getting SO frustrated with it. I hope he figures it out soon because it's painful to watch sometimes.
