Hey everyone, it's been a while so I figured I'd check in! I'm way too behind for personals, sorry! I did read the posts and it's good to catch up with everyone! Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with this thread a little better now that it's been split up!
Tenley is going to be 2 months old tomorrow, it's gone so fast! She's still pretty fussy for the most part and doesn't like to sleep in the daytime, but she sleeps like a champ at night! She'll usually do at least 7 hours at night and she's been going to sleep on her own when I lay her down in the bassinet at night. I don't know what is different about day time, but it doesn't work then. LOL. She still seems really small to me (even those she started at 9 lbs), she is just finally outgrowing her newborn clothes, but a lot the 0-3 stuff is still too big. I'm really hoping when we go in for her 2 month check up next week she will have gained enough weight, I'm a little worried about it.
Sandy - He's so cute!! I can't believe Jensen will be 5 months old in 3 days! I hear it's pretty normal to hit a sleep regression around this age. I hope he gets back to sleeping longer hours soon!
Ash - WOW! Jensen is about to be 5 months old and he is still in 0-3 months and not looking like he's going to be in the next size up anytime soon. He is my tall skinny guy. He looks like such a happy guy in those pictures! I hope the sleep issues improve soon!
Christine - You can use sunBLOCK at 4 months, but I do not recommend using sunscreen at all because their skin is just so sensitive and sunscreen lets in UV rays for tanning.
Mariana - Congrats to your SIL!!! How exciting!
Ella - Hope that's the right name lol! I hope the road trip is an easy experience for you guys. Jensen passes out anytime the car moves but my niece screamed in her infant carseat from birth, no matter how long or short the trip, and I know how stressful crying babies are, especially when driving!
Adrienne - We want the same kind of configuration only Rob want's 5 kids and I just want to go until I feel done lol. I think a house full of kids sounds wonderful.
Cara - I love Tenley's name! I hope she has gained enough weight and then some at your appointment!
AFM - Still no bleeding, no cramping, nothing. My dad is convinced I am pregnant and all the tests are just being weird for me. I really think the fact that I got positives that went faint, and I only get a positive if I wait 5-6 hours to go before testing, says that it is most likely a loss because in a healthy pregnancy at this point I should be getting definite positives. I am on CD 41 right now. My longest cycle ever (other then a miscarriage at 6 1/2 weeks) was 32 days and that was my chemical pregnancy. So having a cycle this long really tells me it has to be a loss. I had an all natural cycle after I stopped breastfeeding and it was 28 days (I had waited for the Dr's ok before DTD so we didn't want to waste BC when we wouldn't be having sex, and my Dr didn't give the OK until about 8 weeks pp) and BC should have forced AF right? I have to go to the Dr on Monday to get my insurance information anyway so I will mention it to her then but I can't afford to do anything about it for another 2 weeks here.

Hi girls, may I join in? I know I posted like crazy in the general pgcy thread back when I was pg, then of course baby comes and all your IV time is few and far between. I don't think I will be able to do personals here, but I plan to read about all of your babies and update when I can on my LO.
Ethan was 2 months yesterday and things are getting easier as he gets older. That newborn phase is really not my favorite at all... especially when he had a "colicky" phase from about 3 weeks-6 weeks old. He would scream and scream every evening at dinnertime, and all I could do is hold him in the baby bjorn in the dark bathroom with the exhaust fan on. But that is over now, as long as he is fed promptly every 3-4 hours during the day and gets his naps, he's good. (((hugs))) to those mommies who are dealing with "colic" (such a vague, generic term, isn't it?)
Since 7 weeks, he's been doing an 8 hour stretch at night, then a 3 hour stretch until he's up for the day. I have no idea how he's doing that 8 hours this early, (DS #1 didn't do 8 hours til 3 to 3 1/2 months old) but I will say that the miracle blanket is the BEST! And I must say that it is so nice to have a LO that enjoys a pacifier... DS#1 hated them, so it made it that much harder to soothe him when he cried.
I'm glad there is such a great thread going here with lots of mommies! Thanks for letting me join in!
I don't have time to post but I wanted to share some pics I took of David on Saturday which was his 6 month birthday.

Julie, so sorry I forgot to include you on the front page! I will add you, but not this minute, which means I may forget. :-/
Remind me again if I haven't done it in like a week though. ;-)
Hey Adrienne, could you add me to the front page when you get a chance too? :)
Amy - I hope you get an answer one way or another soon!
Julie - I just started posting again too! That's awesome that Ethan is sleeping so well at night for you! My first started STTN at 7 weeks too. Tenley is actually a really good night sleeper. She'll usually do 7-8 hours which is awesome!
Sandy - David has gotten so big, what a cutie. He has some gorgeous eyes!
AFM - My mom and sister (and her three kids) are visiting so that's fun. We finally got some nice weather and it's feeling like summer. We took all the kids on a bike ride/picnic and played in the creek today. It was great! I think tomorrow we are going to take them swimming and out to ice cream. Tenley seems like she might be getting a little better. She's still pretty fussy, but is giving us a few more smiles and she's been cooing here and there for a couple weeks. I love it! She sleeps like a champ at night, but still isn't really sleeping in the day time.
