I so tired I can't remember what if anything I have responded to.
Christine- I glad that you aren't pregnant since that's what you wanted.
Cassie- sorry things at work aren't going the greatest. I will keep my fingers crossed about the apps you have out.
Sandy - what a cutie. I can't believe how big he is.
Amy- that's great on the TTC. Where are you guys moving?
AFM- it's been a rough day. It's now 4:45 in the morning and I have a LO that is only sleeping about 45minutes at a time and isn't hungry but just wants to be held by mama. And just wants to eat every othe hour. So needless to say I am exhausted eight now. Will definitely be napping tomorrow.
I was a little upset with DH on Wednesday. I fed gabby andthen wanted to head out run some errands and get my hair cut. So I get my hair cut and run to the store to return some gifts we got and then was going to rent a movie. All of a sudden I check my phone to callDH and I have 5 missed phone calls from him. I call him back and he is yelling at me "where have you been?" so I rush home and he is sitting on the steps, peanut is in her crib and seems fine. Apparenlty he fed her, changed her and she was just fussing for a 1/2 hour. I was just so frustrated that I couldn'teave for an hour and a half and have some me time. We talked it through and I toldhim that sometimes she is just going to cry. The joys of parenthood and trying tofigure it all out.
Amy - That's great, sounds amazing.
AFM - WE had a better night last night. It didn't start out the greatest and I had a bit of an emotional breakdown. Dh and I got into it right before I was trying to get her to bed, and I think we worked it out. But It was hard last night because she kept wanting to eat every 1/2 hour or hour, but once I got her down at 1:00 she slept until 5am so that was nice and then she slept for another 2 hours after that. SO hopefully that will continue tonight. she is 9lbs I can't believe how big she is getting so far and so fast!
DH goes back to work on Tuesday and I am a little apprehensive about that, but it should be fine. We will see how it goes
Hi ladies! No time for personals as it's waaay past my bedtime (nearly 1am!) but I have been reading!
Selin has become quite active these days. She is sitting up very well by herself and very rarely topples over anymore. She is also more and more vocal now
My dad's girlfriend does the food thing. "I think he is ready for this" "he should be able to eat this now". Umm how about I am the mom and I know him best and when he gets sick on most baby foods, what makes you think I want to give him things that have dairy, salt, and sugar mixed in with them? Drives me nuts! Rob actually fully listens to our pediatrician and me about the food and just lets me take the lead.
Thanks for reminding me to be thinking about one year photos for him!! I wish I had remembered to for his 6 months. :( I always forget about these things because my parents NEVER did them!
All that stuff sounds great for the trip! How nice to not have to lug everything around when you go visiting!
Jensen has started CLAPPING and there will be an adorable video of it on my blog tomorrow if anyone wants to go take a look. Well later today since it's 2 am... lol! http://mylifeasmom1910.blogspot.com/
He will only do it for me and my mom so far but it is SO cute!!! and it's hilarious how proud of himself he is. When I brought him home because she was watching him he start clapping his hands while watching lord of the rings lol! What a nerd :)
I know Christine got the results of her BW back but yeah, the blue tests are NOT like the pink ones, from my understanding. I have heard from so many people that you can get a super light line on a blue test and not be pregnant at all. With the pink tests you NEVER get a light line unless you are pregnant. For me even with a ridiculously light line that only I could see it meant I was pregnant.
The lesson here--DO NOT BUY THE BLUE TESTS. The cheap internet tests are the best IMO. You can get them for like 60 cents apiece, they are the most sensitive and accurate tests out there. I know some people don't like them but in my two years of using them I never had a false positive and they always picked it up if I was pregnant (even though, as we know, most of the time it wasn't sticky--it was still nice to know what was going on).
