Cross posted from the FB page:
I think Teddy had a seizure yesterday. We were nursing and all of a sudden he froze and his body went really stiff and he just stared into space. I called his name but no response, so then I started pinching him. When he came to he just cried and cried and wanted to be held. It was so scary.

Oh gosh Kate, that sounds so scary!!

Have you contacted his pediatrician?? I would get some tests done ASAP.

On the other hand, and to give you some hope/peace of mind, I have two close friends who are epileptic and they have absolutely normal lives, (you know, get jobs, get married, have children, etc). So if it comes to that, you know it isn't the end of the world.

He's not himself, but he's teething... like 3 teeth poking through kind of teething. So it's really hard to tell if he's feeling off or just teething really bad. I do like it much better when they can talk more.

Kate - that's so scary. How's Teddy doing now? Did you take him to the dr? I agree, it must be so much easier once they can tell us what is going on/how their bodies feel!

AFM - just a quick post to let you guys know we found out the girls are in fact identical twins. It's actually been pretty crazy to process because I had thought of them in a different way for SO long! Anyway, kinda cool. :smileyhappy:  Oh, and joy of joys, Elia got thrush - geez! They are both teething an insane amount (I feel ya on that, Kate!) - the doctor who saw her today and diagnosed the thrush said all of her canines are coming through and two molars are on their way as well. That might explain why they have been such a fussy mess lately, gah!

We paid for a zygosity test to be done (a private lab) - our healthcare provider wouldn't do it because it wasn't "medically necessary". It was worth paying out of pocket though. :smileyhappy:

Yah, a lot of people are like, "duh. couldn't you tell just by looking at them?" LOL

Children's names and ages: Eliza, 2 yrs 9 months!?

Any new milestones or fun stories: Um.... Eliza pooped on the basement floor this morning. Soooo, that was awesome. And disgusting (OMG someone please tell me that the 3s are easier... anybody???).

What are you looking forward to this month: The State Fair!

Just for fun, complete this phrase - "Before I had kids, I thought .... I knew what tired meant."

Andi - Wow, how interesting to find out your girls are identical NOW as opposed to earlier... is that how most people find out if twins are fraternal or identical? Through lab testing? Or is it more obvious in some twins than in others? I'm so intrigued by this whole thing...!

Kate - Do you have an update about Teddy? I've been thinking about him (and you!)!

AFM - We've been having more "are we SURE we want more kids??" days lately... Eliza at age 2 has been... difficult to say the least. Normal toddler behavior, but OHSOFRUSTRATING. I am trying so hard to keep my attitude positive and to stay calm but some days I just can't. Lately I've felt like calling my mommy every other minute, and/or running screaming out the back door. It's not that bad all the time of course - when that girl is sweet, she is SO DANG SWEET - but I think I've been letting my frustration build up and I haven't been taking enough mommy breaks and time for myself so it's been harder lately. My mom always tells me to "keep the faith", which I remind myself sooo often! I am trying to raise this girl right, and I *think* I'm doing a good job, but then there are days/weeks where she is just so frustrating and I feel like I'm failing... but it's so normal and will pass, so I just try to hold on to that.

Anyway, sorry to come in mid-month and be so negative and venty. But thanks for listening! :smileyhappy:
