Mari if you friend request me on facebook (you know my last name from my blog I think), then I can add you to the group. Same for anyone else that isn't on there yet.
Grace, I'm sorry, but I don't know your last name. I tried to search for it on the blog, and I can't find it!! If you feel comfortable with it you can PM me your name, or I can give you mine (I have a FB account now). Thanks!
Thanks everyone for the reassurance on the stuttering thing. Sounds like it's perfectly normal which is a big relief.
We are still dealing with a bit of the terrible two's here and there. Tonight she was an absolute terror, largely in part because she woke up early AND didn't nap at the sitter. She's pretty much not napping on the weekends any more and is skipping more and more naps at the sitter as well. At least she is willing to lay down and have "quiet time".
DH has been bathing her and putting her to bed more and more which has been an absolute God-send for me, especially since M/S started this week. It is so nice to just relax on the couch or catch up on things I need to do. When I do put her to bed it's fairly quick, just a song or two while rocking and then she asks to get in her bed. From time to time she still asks for "milky-milky" but I just tell her it's all gone now and then she forgets about it.
What are you buying your little ones for Christmas this year??
Selin is all about her baby dolls but my mom found an accessory set for her with a stroller, crib, etc. so that's out for us. We rented Toy Story 3 from our library last weekend and she made us watch it ALL WEEKEND LONG and of course wanted us to rewind the parts with the baby doll, lol. So I think I will be adding that to her Christmas list as well. When she's been acting up we've been telling her that Santa is always watching to see if she's being a good girl and then she looks up at the ceiling. ;-)
I'm sorry that Selin still gives you trouble. Fede does too. This past week Julia has been sick with some virus that gave her fever and a mild diarrhea. She's been very clingy, which in turn has made Fede extra clingy too... and the tantrums have increased exponentially!!!!!! I've been so angry, so often that I think I got new wrinkles!
On top of that I've been doing some packing because we are moving thi weekend, and to be honest, I've been feeling a little blue..... I guess I'll miss this house even more than I thought.
So yep, not an easy week around here....
Talking about the move... Tomorrow they will unplug the computer and internet gadgets, so I'll be MIA until I get a new internet service. I'll try to log in when I go visit my parents, but I'm not sure when that will be.
Anyways... happy thanksgiving everyone! And I hope to be back soon!!!!!
I'm here! Or at least I'm trying to be. I posted about it above. I'm having a really hard time getting to the board. I get a message that the Internet failed to open the page. When I have finally made it to the board, I get the message when I try to comment. Very frustrating. But I'm here now!
Things are going well in my family. Charlotte has had a cold, but she is doing better. Jonah is loving school, and Fletcher & I are working pretty well together in our homeschool adventure. We had a field trip with our co-op this week. That was nice.
We had a quiet Thanksgiving with just us. We put up our Christmas tree on Friday, and we are enjoying its wonderful scent and pretty lights. Until today, Charlotte was doing great about not touching the tree, but this afternoon, she pulled half of the beaded garland down. Groan!
Hopefully I'll have more success getting on and commenting on the board. I miss all of you!
