Children's names and ages: Federico 2y 10m and Julia 7m
Any new milestones or fun stories: Well, Fede did the funniest thing the other day. We were at my SIL's, who has two little girls around the age of my own kids. Anyways, my oldest niece has all kinds of girly toys (picture a mass of pink and purple plastic). And as Fede was playing with her he picked a little baby doll. He was ecstatic! He came running to me and said "mamà, un bebé chititito!!" (mom, a little baby, or something like that). He took the doll on it's tiny stroller, picked it up, sang to it... but the best part was when he lifted his tshirt and started nursing the baby!!!!! OMG... (I could tell my SIL was a little weirded out, but I know it's just him copying all the things I do with Julia.)
Julia popped her two upper front teeth, wich I expected, since her first two came at 5months... still it's hard to believe she has 4 teeth now!!! She sits by herself now, babbles a ton and is dropping her third nap.
We are working on both kids sleep "issues". But more on that later.
What are you looking forward to this month: Moving!!! We've finally finished fixing up grandma's place, so I think we'll be moving in 2 weeks. The bad part is that I'll be without internet for a while... I know I'll have to go to my mom's just to keep in touch with all of you!
Children's names and ages: Ray (8 and three-quarters) and Teddy (20 months)
Any new milestones or fun stories: I really love watching my boys play together; it is so awesome. Ray has fallen back in love with a lot toys we have sent to the attic because of it, and Teddy will do just about anything Ray wants to do because he's the coolest big brother, ever.
What are you looking forward to this month: Not sure if it's a looking forward or what; but Teddy goes to the foot/ankle specialist in a few weeks. I cannot wait to get a professional opinion on his walking.
Mari - Good luck with the move. I loved the story about Fede. Whatever happened with our bible verse blog? I lost the link and can't get it back with the iV changes.
Children's names and ages: Fletcher (7), Jonah (4), and Charlotte (16 months)
Any new milestones or fun stories: Jonah told me at dinner that I was beautiful. By the third time, I wondered if he was up to something!
What are you looking forward to this month: Cory's brother and sister-in-law coming to visit this weekend, and my parents are coming later in the month. Did I tell you they are giving us their car???? I am so, so excited to finally have a second working vehicle. My parents were thinking of trading in their Ford Freestyle, but with so many miles on it, they decided that they would rather give it to us than get nothing from the dealership. We are truly grateful and humbled by their generosity!
Other news: Jonah is doing much better with Charlotte, the potty, and preschool. The only struggle that we are tackling at this point is sleeping in his own bed. Fletcher is doing well. He had some friend issues at our homeschool co-op, but the last two weeks have been better. A boy that is slightly older that Fletcher (and Fletcher adores!) makes Fletcher "the bad guy" when they play, and Fletcher got tired of it. They had a bit of a scuffle over it, but I think we are reaching a resolution. Charlotte is just learning and growing like crazy. She has croup right now, but I expect her to be her old self soon.
Kate, isn't it just wonderful to see your kids pay together? I love it! I hope everything goes well with the foot specialist.
Mari, I can't believe that Julia is sitting and getting more teeth. I think of her as a newborn!!!!
I'm definitely still interested in the Bible blog. I got tripped up by the Google account aspect, but I can figure something out. I posted one comment but that was all.
Children's names and ages: Juliette and Elia (16 months)
Any new milestones or fun stories: Both are walking (still needing definite supervision to avoid faceplants) now. Elia's vocabulary amazes me. It's scary when she strings things together, like "Up! Door outside! Sister, go!" when she wants to go out for a walk. Wow, you really ARE a little person in there, aren't you? ;) She also learned "Yeah" and says it like a surly teenager. Hey Elia, you like your pancakes? "Yeah." Hey Elia, you want to wear your purple jammies? "Yeah." Pretty funny stuff.
What are you looking forward to this month:Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays so I'm looking forward to that. I'm hoping the girls' walking will really improve more this month and I look forward to them becoming more and more independent.
Children's names and ages: Eliza, 3 on November 14th!
Any new milestones or fun stories: Eliza lost a hat I knit for a friend's baby when she was playing with it one day. I searched and searched and I couldn't find it, and she couldn't/wouldn't(?) tell me where she put it. So this was weeks ago, and then just last night I was searching through all her stuffed animals and toys in her room looking for it (since the baby shower for my friend is on Sunday) and she suddenly came up to me and said "It's in the door of the rocks". WTH?? But she was so serious I looked up at her and immeditely knew she knew where it was! It was kind of creepy! I had no idea what she meant, so I asked her to lead me there and sure enough, she took me right to our built-in in the dining room and she opened one of the doors (where we keep a bowl of lake superior agates) and there it was!!! Ha! It was pretty funny.
What are you looking forward to this month: Eliza's birthday parties! My girl is turning 3!
Kate and Erica- I'm so glad you are still interested! Since no one else posted I though it was over, and was kind of embarrased to post anything again...
Anyways, here's the link:

Any new milestones or fun stories: Selin is really getting into pretend play now. We bought her a mini Graco PNP from Target and she LOVES it! She's totally into baby dolls right now and loves when I bring out some of her old swaddling blankets and burp cloths.
What are you looking forward to this month: Thanksgiving!! And then our first MW appt a week later. :-)
Any new milestones or fun stories: Don' really have anything much from David lately except for the fact we have entered the why stage already. I thought I still had time for that. Everything is why. This is going to get old quickly and I bet it will be awhile before he grows out of it.
What are you looking forward to this month: Nothing really, I need to get on the ball with David's birthday. We are planning on having a few friends over so I guess I need to ask Jason what he thinks. Still unsure if we are going to Ohio for Thanksgiving or not. I start my new job on the 12th and I do get Thurs and Fri off but not sure if it's enough time to get there and back for the holiday.
Any new milestones or fun stories: Even though he's been talking well for over a year we're having way more sophisticated conversations now and I love it. He really cracks me up sometimes. Last weekend we were at my ILs and I was reading him a book that was sort of fairy tale-like about a man and his wife. He asked me what a wife was and I tried to explain using me and DH as the example. He thought about it for a minute and then said "So Mommy, I can call you 'mommy' OR I can call you 'the wife'???" I explained that I am the mommy for him and the wife for daddy. DH and I were cracking up afterwards though substituting "the wife" for "mommy" in things that DS would say. Like "The wife, can I watch Dora", LOL
What are you looking forward to this month: Hopefully having a baby towards the end of it. Other than that, just having some downtime before she comes.
