We did our first group bath tonight (Blake still freaks out at bath time so he sat this one out. Not ready to have more kids in the tub then I have hands!). It went really well. I let Jensen and Elaine sit there and splash each other for awhile. They both laughed and had fun. Then I washed Elaine up and Rob dried her and got her dressed while I washed Jensen, and then once he was done he came back and got Jensen dressed and dried while I bathed Blake. It worked out well but I definitely think it's not something I would attempt without Rob home! Here's a cute PG picture for you guys lol!

Amy, love the bath picture. I love that your kids have the same, beautiful hair color.
Christine, the FlyLady is an organization guru of sorts. She had developed a system for caring for your home that breaks down home chores into small manageable steps with the main theme of blessing your family through home care routines that don't have to be PERFECT. It's grown a lot now to include fitness, meal planning, teaching kids to organize, etc. It's a little cheesy, but very fun and motivational! The system worked wonders for me when Fletcher was little, but I've slipped a lot since then and particularly since our move.
You can find all of the info at www.flylady.net.
Erica- That fly lady website sounds really interesting!! I'll be checking on it because, believe me, I need to get motivated with the house work!!
Katie- you must be joking right? He is beginning to potty train??? Fede is 2 1/2 and only now showing those signs!!!!
Christine- Fede is sleeping on a big boy bed since he was 1 1/2 yo. My trick is probably not the best, but it works for us so far… I lay down with him… I just lay there beside him, sometimes he wants to hold my hand, others he just wants to be by himself, he just wants me there. Usually after 5 or 10 minutes he is asleep and I can leave the room. Now that he is older he's been able to sleep on his own a couple of times, but I till think it will be a while until he can do it regularly.
Amy- I love the bath picture!! my mom used to bathe us all together (me, my sister and brother) when we were really young and it was so much fun!!!!
AFM- DH seems to be fine, and apparently it was just a big scare. Thanks all for the "get well wishes".
He went to work on Wed. feeling queasy, once there he started to vomit, but being a guy (that is fearing to look like a wimp), he kept it to himself. But at noon his stomach pain was unbearable and they took him to the infirmary. There they checked and his blood pressure was extremely low, and they couldn't get it up, so they drove him in an ambulance to the hospital. Of course I found out about this when he was already at the hospital at mid afternoon.. Somehow nobody thought "Hey, let's tell the wife!". Once they told me I had to rush and leave the kids with MIL and get there, because I had no freakin' clue of what was wrong with him. From what his co worker told me it could be anything from a heart attack to appendicitis!
Anyways, after a couple of shots and iv fluids, he was better, and spend the night there just as a precaution.
Mari - My mom used to bath me and my cousin together because he was just 9 months older then me. It sure makes bath time faster lol. Glad your DH is ok and it was just a bad stomach bug. I totally hear you about men. My husband broke his ankle at work earlier this year (or so we were originally told) and he tried to tough it out and he walked on it for 2 hours before he couldn't bare it any more. Turned out upon further inspection that he just broke the ligaments and fractured his ankle.
Kate - I had no idea you'd been a single mom! I must have missed any before mention.

Need some advice in regards to toddler beds, etc... I'm not sure if you're aware but most cribs are rated for a maximum height of 35", mine included, after that the risk of falling over the side greatly increases. Teddy is 36". When Ray was 2 and a little over 36" he fell out of his crib, it was so scary.... and well now that Teddy is well over that height I don't want to take the risk. But he's 19 months, and so not ready for a toddler bed. His gross motor skills are still very behind, so I am afraid of him trying to get out of a toddler bed and hurting himself.
Suggestions???
Kate - we moved Evan to a toddler bed in July (he was about 20 months) because we caught him trying to climb out of his crib twice in one day (once when DH was standing right there, and thank goodness he was, because Evan would have gone right over!). We haven't had too many problems with him getting in/out of his bed, though we did fold a very thick comforter and put it beside his bed for the first few weeks. He has fallen out a couple of times, but the comforter softened the blow, and I'd much rather he fall from 1 foot up than 3+ feet.
Another suggestion is to put a mattress on the floor, which I think many of the WTTG ladies have done as well.
Good luck!
Amy - super cute bathtime picture!
Waving "HI" to everyone else!

Hey ladies! I have been reading ,just not posting. Its been way too busy with work, home and everything.
Here is the link to our pictures from our maternity shoot on Sunday: http://jmeppfamily.shutterfly.com/pineapple/34
I can't remember the last time I updated on here, so I am sorry if I repeat stuff. Things are sort of looking up for us. THe lawsuit I was involved with from a car accident almost 3 years ago was settled so I don't have to go to court in December which is great! Our remodel is still going, but some progress has been made so that's good and the lien that was placed on our house is in the process of being removed and they received payment. so all good things.
The pregnancy is going great. I will be 32 weeks on Friday! I can't believe I am on the home stretch, seriously how did this happen. I start weekly ultrasounds on week 34. (september 24th is my first). so that will be a lot of time at the docs office but at least I get to see her a lot.
Gabby is growing up so much! I look at her now and I still see my baby girl but man has she grown. She is counting to 12 just great and sometimes gets up to 14. She knows a TON of animal names/sounds and knows her colors along with the signs. We call her our little mockingjay (Yep I am in the middle of the hunger games series). She repeats EVERYTHING we say and sometimes over and over and over again. Yesterday morning (sorry for those on FB as this is a repeat) she was playing with her stickers and DH only let her have like 6 or 7, she wanted another one. He said you can only have 6. She then takes all the stickers off and puts them back on the sticker sheets and then asks DH for the one she wanted. Such a smarty pants. All I could do was smile! She knows how to work the system already and she's only 2.
